Chapter 1831: Probe (3)
Finding trouble privately for the young disciple Li Moying was one matter, when it came to really coming to the door to challenge the Number One Sacred Land, that was a different matter.
“Clan Leader Leng, do be frank and if there’s nothing else, This Guardian has many other Sect affairs to deal with so I do apologize for not being able to give you a good reception.” Cang Po Jun placed the teacup heavily onto the table, as he spoke in a chilly tone.
This attitude was extremely arrogant.
Before Leng Weiming could say a word, the Elder from Seven Stars Palace couldn’t suppress himself as he spoke out loudly, “Guardian Jun, no matter what we are considered as someone with a reputation from various large powerhouses so isn’t your words a little too discourteous! Blue Profound Sect’s disciples have killed someone and yet still being so arrogant?”
Cang Po Jun gave a cold laugh, “Elder Pan’s words are really interesting. I am Blue Profound Sect’s Guardian whereas you are Seven Stars Palace’s Elder, so since when have our statuses become equivalent? This Guardian invited you guys in to have some tea and that’s already courteous enough! You guys are the ones who are hemming and hawing, wasting so much time!”
Equivalent to the same Elder level character from the Seven Sacred Lands, Cang Po Jun totally didn’t even think much of Elder Pan as he even said it outright.
Elder Pan was so agitated by these words that he almost jumped out of his seat!
“You…. you…..”
Actually when Mu Chengying’s ability was at its peak, Blue Profound Sect was even more conceited and wilder than what they were now! This was the Number One Sacred Land’s confidence and air of arrogance.
But now that Mu Chengying had disappeared for such a long time, some of them were finding it a little hard to adapt, feeling that without Mu Chengying, Blue Profound Sect’s total ability wasn’t comparable to their Seven Stars Palace, so how could they continue to be so arrogant?
He almost wanted to challenge Cang Po Jun but he took a deep breath and managed to control his temper before sitting back at his original seat.
Cang Po Jun saw this and he couldn’t help but sigh with lament. His Sovereign’s ability was just too valiant! Even after disappearing for so many years under the situation where his life and death was unpredictable, for a ninth stage realm peak practitioner like Elder Pan to still have restraining fear of his ability just from his fame alone which didn’t make him act recklessly….
A person who managed to live like this had really reached his limit.
Elder Pan’s anger had not yet quelled as he spoke out in an eccentric tone, “It’s not that we’re hemming and hawing, it’s obviously Blue Profound Sect which had the intention to cover up for the person who committed the crime! This matter is already clear enough. Leng family had an Elder who had been killed some days ago and the murderer is your Sect’s newly accepted direct disciple Li Moying! He even dares to kill Elders from other large powerhouses, he’s simply gone too far in bullying others…..”
Before Elder Pan could finish his words, he was suddenly interrupted by Cang Po Jun.
“Elder Pan, when have you betrayed Seven Stars Palace?”
Elder Pan suddenly went into a blank, “What? I am totally loyal towards Seven Stars Palace, how could I possibly betray the Sect!”
Cang Po Jun replied coolly, “Really? From your tone, This Guardian thought that you have already turned towards the Leng family and joined them! Since the person who died is an Elder from the Leng family, how did you find out about this? And on what basis do you have to sprout rubbish right here?”
“You….! Alright, then I’ll let Clan Leader Leng tell you himself!” Elder Pan was stuffed for words as his face flushed crimson red, turning his head back fiercely towards leng Weiming while throwing a vicious look at him.
Looking at his cowardly expression, the minute he entered Levitation Sword Palace, he was so scared that he wasn’t able to speak a single word clearly. It was no wonder that Leng family’s forces had been dropping badly.
Leng Weiming had actually started to regret coming over because no matter which Sacred Land, he totally could not afford to offend any one of them.
When the deities fought, the ones who suffered a calamity were the little imps like them.
But he understood this logic too late and now he was already stuck in a difficult position.
