Austin walked into the auction hall and was immediately greeted by a staff member.

"Sir, would you like to be in the general area or the VIP area?"

"Oh, there are two separate areas? What's the difference?"

In the last auction that Austin had gone to, everyone had sat around the auction stand in the same hall

without any partition.

"Yes, we've just introduced this system in our auction house. Guests in the VIP area have priority in the

auction for the same bid. The general area is in the lobby while the VIP area is a separate room with a

crystal screen that broadcasts the auction in real time."

Austin actually liked observing everything that went on at an auction.

However, right now, he needed to hide his whereabouts. He would be a lot less conspicuous in a

separate room.

"I'm going to the VIP area."

"Okay, distinguished guest. Please pay 50, 000 vital energy crystals for a VIP card which will be valid

for one year. All our VIP cardholders will receive the same treatment at any Ganges Auction House in

all the towns and cities in the Violet Orchid Empire."

"What? 50, 000 vital energy crystals?"

Austin gasped.

Even though it seemed to be too much, he went ahead and paid 50, 000 vital energy crystals for a VIP

card.

Then, a coquettish waitress walked over to him.

"Distinguished guest, your VIP room number is 63. I'll be your guide for today.

I'll be serving you exclusively during the auction."

The waitress was dressed in a bright red tightly-fitted gown. It was gorgeous and delicate and hugged

her body at all the right places, showing off her curves. There was a silver ribbon tied around her waist,

accentuating how small it was. Moreover, there was a slit in her gown under which her snow-white legs

peeped out every time she took a step forward. And finally, the small smile on her face made her look

confident and charming. All in all, she looked sexy and seductive from head to toe. Any man would fall

for her. Sure enough, as she led Austin to room 63, many of the men they passed by turned their heads

around to ogle at her. They all looked at Austin with envy for being lucky enough to get this waitress.

Of course, Austin didn't even notice them. As he followed the waitress to his private room, all he could

focus on was the twist of her tiny waist and how sexy she looked from the back. He was completely

attracted to her.

Austin's luxury box was over 300 square meters in size with a luxurious carpet on the floor. The walls

were thick and soundproof.

Many special metals had been used to block outsiders from eavesdropping. This was the reason the

Ganges Auction House was so successful and had branches all over the Violet Orchid Empire—it really

paid attention to all the details.

When they entered the box, the waitress poured some tea for Austin and set everything up for him,

intentionally bending over and twisting her waist to show off her body to Austin. Every now and then,

she gave him a come-hither look. Austin could barely stand it.

It was clear that she was implying that Austin would get any service that he asked for in this VIP room.

Being a virgin, he could barely resist the temptation of such a seductive woman.

But he forced himself to ignore all the hints that she was dropping and suppressed his inner desire.

He just quietly sat in Room 63 in the VIP area, waiting for the auction to begin.

Meanwhile, near Peace Town, there was a crowd near the clearing in Flaming Sun Valley where Austin

had killed Raymond.

An old man with grey hair and quiet breath was standing with more than a dozen people. In front of the

old man, a young man in a yellow shirt was kneeling on the ground, trembling in fear.

The old man walked back and forth in the clearing where Raymond had been killed, as if checking

something.

Next to the clearing lay dozens of half-broken skeletons that were covered with teeth marks of beasts.

It was obvious that after the disciples of the Flaming Sun Valley, including Raymond, Madden, and

Rankin, had been killed by Austin, their bodies had been devoured by wild dogs or wolves.

The old man wept bitterly as he looked at one of the skeletons. He squatted down and gently picked up

the incomplete bones as tears fell onto them.

This old man was none other than Dwayne, the Chief Elder of the Flaming Sun Valley.

He felt sad and desolate over the loss of his grandson.

"Gather Raymond's bones and take them back to the valley for a proper burial," he said quietly.

At once, two disciples walked up and took out a red cloth bag. They carefully picked up Raymond's

bones one by one and put them into the bag.

A middle-aged man came forward and said, "Chief Elder, I'm sorry for your loss."

This middle-aged man was a steward in the Flaming Sun Valley. Dwayne had come here with three

stewards and more than a dozen elite figures from the Flaming Sun Valley, most of whom were in the

cultivation base of Earth Realm.

"Chief, here is the sign of the array! I think Raymond and the others were killed in an attack of an

array," said a charming middle-aged woman, another steward from the Flaming Sun Valley.

"Well, that's right. Raymond was indeed killed in an attack of an array," Dwayne said, nodding.

Then, he moved his cold eyes to the young man in the yellow shirt who was kneeling in front of him.

"Tell me, what's going on here?"

Dwayne's voice was quiet with suppressed anger.

"Chief Elder, I was separated from Raymond at the entrance of Ganges Auction House.

I heard that Raymond took Rankin and Madden, as well as more than a dozen disciples from the

Flaming Sun Valley, to go after a man named Austin."

"Oh? And why did Raymond go after that man?"

"I really don't know the reason. I didn't dare to ask him anything about it.

Raymond just told me to find an inn in Peace Town and wait for him to come back.

I waited for five days in Peace Town but they didn't come back, so I came here looking for Raymond.

That's when I found all these bodies.

Since Raymond was dead, I was afraid that I would be punished by you when I returned to the valley,

so I didn't dare to come back. That's why I didn't come and see you until Billy found me yesterday.

For the sake of my loyalty to the Flaming Sun Valley, please spare my life."

Dwayne barely heard the words of the man kneeling in front of him. He was still seething in anger over

the fact that his grandson was dead.

He had always been an extreme person, and the older he got, the worse his temper became.

Since he was the Elder of a large sect, he had brought along the elite members of the sect to avenge

the death of his grandson.

"Austin?"

He kept repeating the name with his eyes full of resentment.

"Do you know who Austin is?"

Chief Elder, I really do not know."

The disciple in the yellow shirt trembled on the ground. Every disciple in the Flaming Sun Valley knew

that their leader had a bad temper and was unreasonable.

"Wow, you're really useless," the Chief Elder said coldly, his lips turning up into a sneer.

"Please spare my life. Please spare my life!"

The disciple in the yellow shirt was so frightened that he began kowtowing.

"Chief, I know Austin's identity," said a voice all of a sudden.

One of the disciples in the crowd stepped forward and looked at Dwayne. He was none other than

Weaver, who had gotten beaten up by Austin in front of the entrance of Lotus Tavern.

He would definitely recognize Austin as soon as he saw him.

Weaver didn't have a good cultivation base but he was good at flattery. In the Flaming Sun Valley, he

had been the most trusted follower of Raymond. Every time Raymond went out, he had always taken

Weaver with him.

But since Weaver had had to spend several months in Flaming Sun Valley to recover after being

beaten up by Austin, he hadn't been with Raymond this time. Otherwise, he would be dead too.

The Chief Elder of the Flaming Sun Valley had specifically asked Weaver to come along because he

thought that Weaver would know something about this incident that he didn't. And now, it turned out

that he was right.

"You know it? Good, very good. Tell me."

The Chief Elder couldn't wait to find out.

"Austin is an outer disciple of the Sun Sect. He's insolent and has always acted tyrannically. He beat up

Raymond and his disciples for no reason.

He's the one who broke my arm. I had to rest for two months before I recovered.

Raymond's death must have something to do with him."

"Austin is just an outer disciple of the Sun Sect?

How dare an outer disciple of the Sun Sect kill my grandson? Even Theon, the head of the Sun Sect,

would respect me.

Anyway, fine! Let's go to the Sun Sect. I will see how Theon is going to explain this to me!"
