No matter how hard the two men tried to persuade their senior fellow disciple, he didn't change his

mind.

"What's the point of making allies?

Allies will only turn their backs on you.

Don't be fooled.

We can't trust others in this situation.

Don't mention this ever again! We're not going to team up with others, and that's final.

The three of us should stick together, and that's the only way to survive.

If you don't listen to me and still intend to work with other opponents, you are free to go," the senior

disciple said with a livid face.

Hearing this, the two men shook their heads in disappointment. "You...

You are always so stubborn," one of them remarked with a sigh.

"Forget it. It's your call. We will respect your decision.

We are not going to team up with others,"

said the other.

"Great. As you know, I am doing this for our sake... Damn it! What are you doing? !"

Suddenly, a sword appeared out of thin air and began charging towards the senior disciple.

The sword impaled him in the chest and went out his back.

A pool of blood gushed out of his wound and formed on the ground.

The sudden turn of events even caught Austin who was watching in the distance by great surprise.

Before the senior disciple could react, the two men each hit him with one palm, causing him to lose his

balance.

The injured man spat out blood and was already too weak to fight.

"You bastards. We are from the same sect. How dare you attack me?!

God damn it. Go to hell, you assholes!" he yelled at the two men with all his strength left.

His eyes were filled with both fear and anger.

One of the two men who injured the senior disciple laughed wildly. "You had it coming.

You should have listened to us," he said with a smug look on his face.

"The result of this competition will determine our fate. If we lost, we would all die.

We can't let you make such a crucial decision for us.

Humph!

We have had enough of you.

You are so arrogant and headstrong, not to mention mean when we were in the sect," he continued.

The more reasons he gave, the angrier he had become.

"Do you know why we plotted to get rid of you?

You are not qualified to make such crucial decisions during these times. From the moment you refused

to team up with the others you have already buried your own grave.

Humph! We don't want to die with you.

Also, do you remember what you did to me in our sect?

Betty and I were in love, but you took her away from me and forced yourself on her!

Humph! The only reason I couldn't do anything was because of the influence and power you hold.

I thought I wouldn't be able to exact my revenge on you for the rest of my life. I thought I had to live

with what you did to Betty for all eternity. But the universe granted my wish today. Today, I will have my

revenge!" He let out a mad laughter.

Nothing felt better than finally getting even with that treacherous man.

The senior disciple laid on his own pool of blood, unable to say or do anything but stare at the two men

standing in front of him.

"Cut the crap. Let's do it,"

the other man said to the one who spoke.

"Okay!"

The man who held a grudge against the senior disciple inched forward step by step, relishing the

moment he had long been waiting for.

"Ha-ha! You have never seen this coming, have you?

Ha-ha! Today is the best day in my whole life."

As the man took another step, something unexpected happened again.

While the man drew closer to the injured man, a beam of sword light hit his back.

"Ha-ha!"

The man standing still broke out laughing.

"Colbert, how could you do this to me?"

The man who got hit stopped in his tracks. Shock crept up on his face, as a cold feeling washed over

him making him tremble.

Then he fell to the ground and coughed up blood. He gaped at the third man called Colbert who was

standing beside him with a vicious sneer.

"You haven't seen this coming either, have you?"

Colbert repeated what the man said in a mocking tone.

"Colbert, you... you are too cruel!

Why did you hit me?

I thought we were friends.

We swore not to turn our back against each other..."

The man who was hit by Colbert tried to raise his voice but failed to do so as he coughed up blood.

"I was thinking that if I killed both of you, then I get to have all your points and the treasures for myself.

Don't you think that is a good idea?"

Colbert said as he took a deep breath.

"I don't mind killing two birds with one stone.

So I made the decision and carried out my plan.

Things have gone well so far,"

Colbert said with a smug smile as he approached the two injured men.

In the distance, Austin was shocked by the sudden turn of events.

'I can't believe it. They are so evil and cruel, ' he thought.

Just then, something caught Austin's eye.

The senior disciple stretched out his hand and a rune paper materialized and caught on fire. It

transformed into a beam of sword aura and flew towards Colbert.

In an instant, the sword aura pierced through Colbert's body.

"I didn't expect you to keep this from us.

The sword aura rune paper you got from our master is indeed powerful!" Colbert bellowed hysterically

as he took a menacing look at the man who attacked him.

He let out a painful scream and was thrown backwards.

"Let us all die together. None of us can live alone..."

The senior disciple used the last of his strength to ignite the sword aura rune paper. Although he was

dying, he drew a smile.

"Let's perish here together..."

Within just a few moments, three powerful cultivators were laying on their own pools of blood, dying.

An eerie silence enveloped the place.

Austin was dumbfounded by the scene, but at the same time, he was also elated.

'Good, very good. I am very lucky. This is a good thing for me, ' he thought in excitement.

Austin got up and used his bodily movement skill to rush towards the peak in the distance.

"Those three are evil. They set their own demise and now I'm going to finish what they started to

acquire more points and rob them of their treasures!" He was ecstatic.

In just a split second, he reached the three men and looked at each of them.

"What the hell? !"

The three injured men didn't expect that there was another person lurking in the dark while they were

plotting against each other.

"What? You are actually at the Divine Realm?

This is impossible. This is where medium-grade divine gods compete against each other. How could

you possibly be here?

Never mind that, weaklings like you shouldn't even be in the Fallen Divine Valley in the first place!"

He and the other two wounded men were more confused as they sensed Austin's cultivation base.

"Yes, I am indeed at the Divine Realm," Austin said with a smile.

He stared at the three people lying on the ground with a playful look in his eyes.

"Humph! A mere Divine Realm cultivator has the guts to show up in front of us. Get your ass out of

here now!"

the senior disciple yelled at Austin.

"Young man, don't listen to him. Help me kill these two people. When you're done, I will definitely pay

you a handsome fee!"

Colbert said in a desperate attempt to butter up Austin.

"Poor weakling. You're just at the Divine Realm. What do you think you can do to us?

We are medium-grade divine gods. Do you think you can lay a finger on us?

Humph!

You're just a nobody. If you make a move against us, we will surely make you suffer; so don't bother,"

the third man threatened as he noticed the hostility in Austin's eyes.

"Ha-ha! "

Much to the three men's amazement, Austin burst into laughter.

"You guys are so stupidly arrogant. Even if you know some omnipotent skills, what could you possibly

do to me? You three are dying.

What did you just say? You're going to make me suffer? All right. I'd like to see you do that,"

Austin said confidently.

"What the hell do you want?"

the three injured men asked as Austin called their bluff.

"I'm going to take your lives,"

Austin answered without hesitation.
