At that moment, Santos' eyes became piercing, making him appear like a peerless master.

"A geomancy array called the Five Element Array is hidden in this continent.

There are 2500 earth dragons within the underground of the continent.

These are made up of 500 earth dragons of metal attribute, 500 of wood attribute, 500 of water

attribute, 500 of fire attribute, and 500 of earth attribute.

The Five Element Array can soak up the energy of the chaotic void and transfer that energy

somewhere else,"

Santos explained.

"The Five Element Array?" Austin mused.

He had mastered the Earth Exploring Technique to some extent, but this was the first time that he had

heard the mention of the Five Element Array.

Having been made aware by Santos, Austin immediately began to sense the continent.

"Huh? But, sir! There are 2501 earth dragons in this continent.

Did you miss one?"

Austin enquired with a speculative look on his face.

"The extra one you sense is not an earth dragon—it is the eye of the array.

I wouldn't have expected that you can even detect the eye of the array. You surprised me, young man,"

Santos admitted with a hint of admiration in his voice.

"I see.

It appears that the Five Element Array far exceeds any geomancy array I have encountered before,"

Austin stated.

"What's that? Oh, no. That's impossible.

Perhaps I have made a mistake,"

Santos muttered to himself as his eyebrows furrowed like he had run into some problem.

Austin noted his change of expression.

"Master Santos, are you all right? Is there something wrong?"

Austin asked.

"The construction of this array is similar to that of one of my old friends.

But my friend is a kind, righteous, and morally upright person. He would never ever side with the gods

of darkness or help them make such geomancy arrays.

Could there really be another Earth Master in the world so similarly capable as him of making the

geomancy arrays?

Forget it. Let's break the Five Element Array first,"

Santos decided.

"Master Santos, how will we accomplish that?"

Austin inquired politely, but he was secretly excited.

'Perhaps I will learn much if I can watch him break the array, ' he thought to himself.

"Now, I'll teach you about the Five Element Array.

You must familiarize yourself with this. Then, you will guard the most sensitive areas of the array while I

will destroy it.

This array is complex and powerful. We have to proceed carefully,"

Santos cautioned.

Then he gestured at Austin's head and sent a spiritual sense message into his Soul Sea.

Austin was elated. He immediately sat cross legged and began to read the message.

Santos waited patiently to the side, watching Austin disseminate the knowledge.

Simultaneously, in a chaotic void near the stronghold of the gods of darkness.

"Lord Hackett, Lord Elliot, in that ancient battle, I eliminated so many enemies single-handedly. I have

made great sacrifices to the gods of darkness.

Now, I just ask to protect one of my descendants. Can't you let her go for my sake?"

Thad requested, his eyes full of sadness.

He glanced around and noticed how those who had fought alongside him were glaring at him balefully.

Some of the creatures stared at him with playful looks on their faces. Some even began to gloat openly.

Obviously, they got off on his pain.

"Thad, don't try to pull the wool over our eyes.

Why didn't you mention that the bitch is Austin's wife?

Don't you know how many our men were slain by his hands?

Besides, we both know that Austin owns a hoard of priceless treasures.

Humph! Don't think I don't see what you are up to. You want to claim all of Austin's treasures for

yourself. That's why you refused to turn that bitch over to us.

Cut the crap. Thad, you will hand that bitch over today, or everyone here will see your deception!"

Baham triumphantly exclaimed as he took a step forward.

'I've pushed his buttons. Now, I should push him even harder.

It would be better if someone could finish him off.

If Thad doesn't relent, he will take revenge on me one day, ' he thought.

"He is correct. Thad, you are trying to defend that bitch since you plan to trade her for all of Austin's

treasures.

Do you think we will let you get all of that wealth yourself?"

Silas added his two cent's worth.

Like Baham, he had sensed this was an opportune moment to take Thad out.

"Baham, Silas, I had seen you as my comrades all these years, but I hadn't expected that you wanted

me dead.

Good! Very good!"

Thad was not stupid. He knew the game Baham and Silas were playing. He felt betrayed, and his

anger knew no bounds.

"Humph! Thad, don't waste our time. Now, hand her over to me!"

Ace urged, getting as impatient as a child.

"Ha-ha!

Good! Very good!

This is on me. I should have seen your true colors. I can't believe I was foolish enough to side with you

cunning bastards."

Thad threw his head back and abruptly burst into peals of laughter.

His laugh was a bitter sound, full of grief and loneliness.

"Who the hell do you think you are, you brat? How dare you speak to me in that way?

Humph! Caroline is a princess of our race, the apple of my eye.

If you want to take Caroline away from me, then walk over my bones,"

Thad roared as he laughed maniacally.

All of a sudden, grey dragons created from his energy gushed forth from his body.

Endless runes of evil law began dancing like a snow storm.

He wielded his giant axe and hefted the great shield, ready to fight.

"You want to take her? Show me what you have got!"

Thad snarled, shaking the sky with his fury.

"Thad, has it really come to this? I can't believe that so many years have passed, yet you are still so

stubborn,"

Elliot said with a sigh, shaking his head.

"Thad, you'd better rethink this. What you are doing is a betrayal of us.

If you don't change your mind and yield, there will be no turning back,"

Hackett added with a sullen face.

"How dare you act so rudely?

Beg for Prince Ace's forgiveness, now!

He is the representative of the Beast City. How dare you raise your voice at him?"

Lloyd cursed furiously while pointing a trembling finger at Thad.

"Ha-ha! If you choose to be so stubborn, then don't blame me for being ruthless."

A sinister voice rang through the air.

Then, everyone saw a hand suddenly appear above Thad's head before lunging at him.

The hand was wreathed in the powerful evil law, producing raging winds and misty energy that instantly

tore apart the space where Thad was standing.
