The Supreme God Chapter 3810 Elijah

Austin secretly observed this man—he was tall, brawny, and even had a fair complexion.

This handsome young man was clad in a fine robe with a jade belt. He emitted golden light, which only

meant that he had lots of high-grade treasures in his possession.

Although there were mysterious symbols inscribed on his body, he still looked strong and noble.

When Austin sized him up, he easily perceived that this young man was a genuine medium-grade

divine god.

What was more, this man was obsessed with the mermaid.

He looked at her with a hint of desire in his eyes.

"Don't worry about me, Elijah. I'm fine.

Thanks to Austin, I didn't get into any trouble.

By the way, how are the others from our Heaven Beast Valley?" the mermaid asked casually.

'Hmm. I see. So this mermaid comes from the Heaven Beast Valley.'

Austin was quietly listening in on the conversation between the mermaid and the handsome, young

man.

The Heaven Beast Valley was a forbidden place in the Sea of Chaos. However, it had recently been

gaining fame.

The creatures from this forbidden area were known to be incredibly powerful.

"Wait. Did you just say Austin? Who is this Austin guy anyway?!"

When he realized who she meant, Elijah slowly turned to look at Austin with his piercing eyes. It was as

though he was trying to assess whether Austin was a good man.

At this point, Austin had sent all the genuine divine gods whom he had just tamed into the continent

that he had created.

Since he was strong enough to protect himself in the maze, Austin didn't need those slaves to fight

beside him.

If he kept them by his side, he would have had to protect them from the illusions that were all over the

place.

That was why Elijah saw no one else except Austin and the mermaid, alone together.

"Who are you?! Why are you with her?

What do you want from her?!

Speak!"

Elijah grilled Austin in a strident voice.

Sensing that Austin was an ordinary preliminary-grade divine god, he only took him for a human kid

whose strength was too weak and insignificant.

Thus, he showed Austin no sign of respect.

"Don't be so rude to him, Elijah.

Austin is a good guy. Without him, I probably wouldn't have made it alive," the mermaid suddenly

uttered.

Afraid that Elijah might piss Austin off, she hurriedly went forward and stood between Austin and Elijah.

The mermaid was well aware of what Austin was capable of, so she knew he could snuff Elijah out

without even breaking a sweat.

Meanwhile, Austin didn't say a word. He simply stared back at Elijah as he curled his lip.

"Well?! What are you waiting for?

Get your ass over here and answer me!" Elijah raved.

He was already losing his temper. Murderous intent filled his eyes as he furiously stared at Austin.

This young man had always regarded the mermaid as his woman.

However, she had spent some time alone with this stranger in front of him.

He couldn't help but fly into a rage as he thought about what could have happened between the two.

Not only that, but the mermaid had also stood in front of Austin to protect him. This made him feel more

envious and uncomfortable.

"Weakling, if you don't want to die, come over and kneel before me.

You better answer my questions now. Or else, I will make you suffer!"

Elijah snarled at Austin as jealousy took over him.

Waves of a terrifying amount of energy gushed out from his body and came at Austin.

In an instant, this energy began to shake the space where Austin was standing.

Nonetheless, Austin remained still as though nothing strange was happening.

"Elijah, stop this now! If you keep pushing him, I'll be angry!

Austin is a really good man.

You don't have to do this to him!"

The mermaid opened her arms wide to ensure that Elijah wouldn't harm Austin in any way.

"Believe me, I'm doing this for your sake.

You're still young, so you don't know how dangerous the world is.

I don't know what dirty tricks this loser has pulled on you to get you into trusting him like this.

This loser must have done a lot to win your trust. I bet he's even planning to hurt you."

Elijah got more riled up as the mermaid spoke up for Austin.

"Now, move! I'm gonna destroy this loser.

After that, we can go and look for our companions,"

Elijah announced.

"No!

Please don't do that, Elijah.

You are no match for Austin. If you provoke him like this, you'll be courting danger!"

The mermaid felt a surge of anxiety as she earnestly persuaded Elijah. She didn't move an inch from

where she was standing, desperate to keep the two from clashing.

"What... What did you just say?

Ha-ha! Do you hear yourself? That's just ridiculous.

Seriously, what did this loser do to you to make you think that I can't defeat him?

Who do you think he is? He's a mere ordinary preliminary-grade divine god. I can bring down

thousands of weaklings at his level in a heartbeat.

I can't believe that you actually think even for a second that I will lose to this nobody. You've got to be

kidding.

Are you trying to insult me?!"

Elijah couldn't believe what he had just heard her say. He was so infuriated that he ended up laughing

so wildly.

"Get out of my way now!

I must kill this scumbag!"

Rage fueled Elijah. He immediately upheaved the mermaid and carried her away from Austin.

After making sure that she was at a safe distance, he turned to Austin and sneered.

Smack!

A huge palm came towards Austin. It had terrifying energy that made the palm grow even bigger as it

approached him.

It possessed such power that even the space around them couldn't bear it.

An anguished scream filled the air, which crept people out.

Seeing all this show of power, Austin found Elijah to be a formidable opponent.

He even seemed to be stronger than most genuine medium-grade divine gods.

However, it all didn't matter to Austin.

Elijah didn't pose a nip of a threat to him, so he didn't even care about fighting with him as if it was just

a waste of his time.

Using his mind, Austin unleashed the law of illusion.

In an instant, endless illusions nearby went violent.

The illusions rapidly engulfed Elijah and attacked his Soul Sea.

"Aaah! What the hell?!"

The murderous look on Elijah's face froze right away. Beads of sweat slowly trickled down his brow.

He stood still, his face twisting in fear.

"Humph!"

Austin snorted with a defiant sneer. He wasn't satisfied with the way Elijah was reacting.

Immediately, more and more illusions flooded Elijah.

"Aaahh! No! Where am I? What's this horrible place? How did I get here?!"

Elijah finally broke down and cried out in terror. He couldn't hold out any longer.

"Austin! Please spare his life!"

The sight of Elijah being frightened to death perturbed the mermaid.

"Why? Have you forgotten that he was talking about destroying me just now?"

Austin snarled flatly as he turned to look at her.

"Austin, I know Elijah wronged you...

But he's my fellow disciple.

I can't bear to watch him die in front of me.

Please let him go, Austin.

If you spare his life, I will do anything for you,"

the mermaid begged Austin.

"All right, fine. I won't kill him for your sake."

Austin finally nodded in agreement.

After all, he wasn't that ruthless.

Although he wasn't open to coercion, he was open to persuasion—as long as it was all within reason.

Now that a gorgeous woman was begging him with such a pitiful look, Austin did not mind doing her a

favor.

On top of that, Elijah couldn't possibly be a danger to him.

There was no use in killing him, so he didn't have any problem sparing his life.

"I'm gonna go. Take care of yourself."

Austin turned around and walked away.

'Well, now that she has been reunited with her fellow disciple, she won't need me to protect her

anymore.'

"Hey, Austin! Are you trying to get rid of me?

Wait for me!"

To Austin's surprise, the mermaid promptly caught up with him.
