The Supreme God Chapter 4413 Hearing About The Reincarnation Race Again

Prev Chapter Next Chapter

On the inside of the eye of the Sword Cosmos, time passed slowly.

Austin was still in the secret room that he had built,

devoting all his time to studying the secret skill related to reincarnation that the elder had taught him.

After viewing the runes all around him, he saw that billions of worlds had been destroyed and reborn.

After he spent a long time examining the runes, Austin's understanding of reincarnation grew.

The entire secret room was filled with numerous reincarnation runes that floated in the air. Each one

gave off its own mysterious aura.

"What is reincarnation?"

Austin murmured to himself while he performed the skill.

Since he had entered the secret room, he had progressed further in the law of reincarnation.

Before, Austin only understood the basics of the law of reincarnation and now

he understood it deeply.

"I see! Reincarnation is related to destruction and rebirth!" Austin shouted as realization struck him.

His voice was so loud that it shook the entire secret room. Dust fell from the ceiling and the runes

trembled.

Then,

all the illusory scenes in the room disappeared.

When everything settled, all he could see was a broken, old stone bridge a couple of feet in front of

him.

Judging by its appearance, the bridge had existed for a long, long time.

There were two words carved on its surface.

The characters were foreign, having belonged to an era that existed long ago.

Therefore, not many creatures of this age could read them.

But thanks to his powerful spiritual sense, Austin understood the meaning of the words.

His eyes swept over the words "Memory Bridge".

"Hold on. Who's there?" Austin muttered.

Squinting his eyes, he could barely make out a figure at the end of the bridge. It was stooped over and

enveloped by a mist made from law power.

Austin couldn't see the figure's face clearly, but he could tell by the posture that it was a listless, old

woman.

"This is Memory Bridge?"

Feeling excited, Austin unleashed his spiritual sense to see the old bridge more clearly.

However, there was thick law of reincarnation over the area and it blocked his perception.

"The Memory Bridge? Could it really be the legendary bridge that one must cross if they want to be

reborn?"

Austin had to blink several times to be sure he wasn't imagining things.

When he was still on the Earth, Austin had heard the story about Memory Bridge and Old Lady Meng.

When a creature died, their soul had to cross the bridge if they wanted to be reborn.

A female deity called Old Lady Meng would hand the ghost a bowl of soup and when the ghost drank it,

their memory of the past would be erased and they could be reincarnated with a clean start.

"That old lady must be the legendary Old Lady Meng."

Austin activated his omnipotent skill and weaved it through the law fog to the old woman. Now, he

could see clearly.

"Memory-removing Soup!"

His eyes rested on several bowls of soup sat on the rickety table in front of the old woman.

Each bowl was filled to the brim with hot, black soup that emitted a weird aura.

"No way! Is that the Memory-removing Soup?

Is the story of the road of reincarnation true?

Is there a Memory Bridge on the road of reincarnation?

Is that Old Lady Meng standing at the end of the Memory Bridge?"

Every question made Austin's eyes open wider with shock.

Using the law of reincarnation, he recreated the scene.

What he saw did, in fact, exist.

He determined that it might have existed in the past or it still existed now.

That wasn't important because Austin had confirmed its existence using his deep understanding of the

law of reincarnation that allowed him to see anything related to reincarnation in the worlds.

Everything he could see was real and somewhere out there.

'Wow. This means the legends about the road of reincarnation and the Reincarnation Bridge are true.'

Austin was so shocked that he could barely move.

Disrupting his thoughts, the Reincarnation Token in his pocket started shaking and bright law light

shone through.

The streaks of law light fell on the Memory Bridge,

causing the mist which had enveloped the Memory Bridge to wisp away.

Now Austin could perfectly make out the entire bridge and

the old lady at the end of it.

The bridge was ancient and tangled with moss.

All over its surface were plenty of gouges left behind by weapons.

"What's going on? I sense something."

The old woman who had been still the whole time suddenly raised her head and looked at Austin.

Two beams of black light shot out from her empty eyes,

making the hair on Austin's arms stand on end.

'Weird. It's like she can see inside my mind.

I think she knows all my secrets,' he thought to himself, shaking his head in shock.

The old woman's eyes were wise and sharp. Nothing was left unknown to her.

Her eyes raked over Austin several times.

"I never thought that our race would have a successor,"

the old woman murmured to herself after lots of silence.

"People die and are reborn. Things change.

No one knows what will happen next. And so it is now. The rumors are true,"

she continued with a gentle smile.

The wrinkles in her face deepened. It was hard for Austin to comprehend her shaking, aged voice.

"What is she saying?"

Austin asked out loud, straining his ears.

"Young man, I wasn't expecting your arrival.

Currently, we are in different spaces and time periods. The odds of us ever meeting are extremely low.

Therefore, you must understand my surprise.

You are here in front of me. Perhaps we are destined to meet,"

the old woman said as she fixed her eyes on Austin's face.

"Madam, are... are you talking to me?"

Austin asked gingerly.

'Right now, she is in another space and time period!'

he thought, feeling excitement rush through his veins once more.

"Yes. I am speaking to you.

I see that you've found the Reincarnation Token.

To some extent, that means you can be considered as a member of the reincarnation race.

This makes me happy. Our race has a successor!"

the old woman exclaimed, smiling even wider.

"Madam, what is the reincarnation race?"

Austin asked, letting his curiosity get the best of him.

Even though he had heard about the reincarnation race before, he was desperate to learn

more.
