"Hey, little girl! Come with us right now!"

A huge man tightly grabbed the girl by the arm, intending to take her away at once.

"What do you think you're doing? Let go of my daughter. Don't drag her into this!"

Sam rushed over, desperately trying to save his daughter with all his might.

However, despite his determination, his strength wasn't enough. Thus, he just received more violent

punches and kicks from his daughter's abductors.

But then, at this moment, something unexpected happened.

"Stop that right now!" A voice suddenly resounded.

Apparently, Austin and Julian were just around the grassland.

"Have you no shame?

Let go of her right now before you regret it!"

Julian shouted angrily as he pointed his finger at the man who was harassing the little girl. Most times,

he was just easy-going, thus even his father was quite surprised to see him this infuriated.

"Who the hell are you? Mind your own business!

How dare you meddle in the affairs of the Green Bamboo Gang?!

Are you tired of living?"

the man who held the little girl snapped back.

"Didn't you hear me the first time? I told you to let her go!"

Julian stepped forward and shouted sternly.

"This little bastard is really getting on my nerves! Don't you dare go crying and begging for your life

later!"

The man was so annoyed that he rushed forth and threw his fist at Julian.

However, Julian didn't even flinch or dodge.

At the same time, his father just smirked as he watched from the sidelines.

It was such a big joke that this man, who was only at the third level of Energy Gathering Realm, would

dare attack someone like Julian.

He was so weak that he couldn't even realize that he was just like an ant who was trying to charge at a

raging dragon.

When the man's fist was only about three feet away from Julian, a light curtain appeared out of

nowhere and blocked his punch.

Boom!

In a split-second, the man's fist hit the light curtain.

The very next moment, his fist until the forearm shattered as if it was a fragile glass.

It instantly turned into nothing. Not even a trace of flesh or bone was left.

"Argh!"

With only half of his arm left, the man let out a shrilling scream. He was greatly taken aback that he

retreated several steps backward because of intense fear.

For a moment, all of the other men were also stunned. They stared at Julian as if they were seeing

some sort of a vicious monster.

"Who the hell are you?

I told you that we're from the Green Bamboo Gang. How dare you hurt one of our members?

Get out of here at once before you feel our wrath!" another man shouted in exasperation.

"It's all right, sister. Come over here. Don't be afraid of them.

They won't be able to hurt you anymore,"

Julian said softly as he stretched his hand towards the girl.

"Dad, come on. Let's get out of here."

After hesitating for a moment, the girl held on to her father and walked towards Austin and Julian.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going?

Did we give you permission to leave?"

The men of the Green Bamboo Gang didn't have the slightest intention of letting them go that easily.

Although they were afraid of Julian, they still had a reputation to protect.

After all, the Green Bamboo Gang was known to be the leader of gangs in the entire city.

In fact, their boss, Dent Tang, was one of the most influential persons in the city. He had great power,

thus people avoided offending the Green Bamboo Gang at all costs.

"I said stop!"

One of the men rushed and tried to prevent Sam and his daughter from escaping.

However, in a flash, Julian's figure appeared in front of the man to block him from advancing.

"Humph! Don't get conceited, brat! I'm going to crush your head!"

The man was pissed off because Julian was just taking them lightly. He brandished his sword and

attempted to stab the boy.

"Watch out!" the girl screamed loudly.

She was so frightened that Julian might get hurt. Her face quickly turned pale when she saw that he

was being outnumbered.

Julian had just confronted more than a dozen strong men just to save her and her father. Therefore, if

something bad happened to him, she would feel rather guilty.

As much as the little girl and her father worried about Julian, Austin, his father himself, didn't even

seem to bother a bit.

At the back of his mind, even if every strong warrior on Earth ganged up on Julian, it would be

impossible for them to leave him a scratch.

Of course, the spiritual avatars of the Buddhist monks, which were hiding in the untraversed plateau,

the pure land of Buddhism, were a different case.

Once more, Julian didn't dodge the attack of the man who held a sword. He just allowed the man to hit

him with his full force.

However, when the long sword was within three feet away from Julian, the light curtain appeared again.

In the blink of an eye,

the long sword pierced directly into the light curtain.

Boom!

Without any warning, the sword exploded and dissipated into nothing. Not even a shred of metal

fragment could be found.

Splat!

The next moment, the man's arm was also crushed to pieces.

It was pretty identical to what had happened to the man who harassed the little girl earlier.

"Argh!"

The man instantly roared in pain. His face turned pale in horror and cold sweat kept trickling down his

head.

That was when he realized that Julian wasn't just an ordinary boy. He was so powerful that they

couldn't gauge his real strength.

"There's something wrong with this boy! He's inhuman!"

The other men began to tremble as they witnessed how the young boy brought down two of their

comrades without even making a move.

Inch by inch, they started to retreat as they recognized that they couldn't do anything to him.

At this point, they didn't want to offend him further, or they might end up losing their lives.

"You just got lucky today, brat!

Just wait and see! This isn't the end!

You provoked the Green Bamboo Gang, so don't expect that you'll get off the hook that easily!

We're going to report this incident to our boss.

You better prepare yourself to receive the fury of Dent Tang!"

Then, the members of their gang started to run away.

In particular, the two men who had lost their arms ran even faster because they wanted to get out of

there as soon as possible.

"Wait up."

Out of nowhere, Austin spoke.

As soon as Austin's words echoed in their ears, the more than a dozen men suddenly found out that

they couldn't move their bodies even an inch.

No matter how hard they struggled, it didn't make a difference. Their entire body was frozen.

At this moment, these men feared dearly for their lives.

They admitted to themselves that they had offended the wrong people this time.

"What do you want? Are you really going to declare a war against the Green Bamboo Gang?

Let go of us right now! You won't get away with this once our boss knew what you did!"

one of the men shouted at Austin in an attempt to threaten him.

"Buddy, can you tell me what really happened?

Why do you have to pay these taxes every month?

Is a gang even allowed to do that?"

Austin asked as he looked directly into the eyes of Sam.

"Sir, thank you very much for your concern.

But they are working directly under Dent Tang, the head of the Green Bamboo Gang.

It's better if you do not involve yourselves with them," Sam answered indirectly.

It seemed like he didn't want Austin to be dragged into their problem.

At the same time, it was also pretty obvious that he was very afraid of Dent Tang.

With more than a dozen members of the Green Bamboo Gang watching and listening, of course, he

didn't have the guts to spill the truth.

He clearly knew that Dent Tang would make him pay, and he still wanted to live with his family.

"I see...

You're that afraid of their boss, huh?"

Austin let out a frown when he figured out what Sam was really worried about.

"Sir, it would seem that you came from another city.

It might be rude to ask this, but please don't concern yourselves with the affairs of the Green Bamboo

Gang anymore.

Let's go, Viola."

It seemed that he didn't want Austin's help because he assumed that his family would just get into

further trouble if he let some outsiders get involved in this mess.

"Don't worry. I will pay the tax that I owe you as soon as I can,"

Sam said to the members of the Green Bamboo Gang who were trapped in Austin's spatial law.

Then, he held his daughter's hand and started walking away.

"Hey, sister. If you're having any trouble, just tell us. We can easily handle them.

You don't have to be afraid of them!"

Julian said, convincing the girl to depend on them.

"Dad, I think he's right. They are powerful enough to deal with Dent Tang.

Why don't we ask for their help?" the girl asked.

"Shut up, Viola! You don't know what you're talking about!"

Sam was suddenly agitated as he heard these words came out from his daughter's

mouth.
