"Sirs..."
The young man suddenly became very respectful.
"What has bought you two here?"
the young man asked. His voice had become more gentle and calm.
"Answer whatever I ask you now,"
Austin said.
"Yes of course, sir. Anything you want,"
the young man replied meekly.
"Well, introduce yourself first. Who are you?"
Austin demanded.
"My name is Donny. My father is the leader of the Jade Sun Sect. I came out on his orders to go to the
Sword Pavilion Sect, presenting myself to Master Benedict and acknowledging him as my master,"
the young man began.
"Is that so?
You are already a preliminary-grade divine god. What's the cultivation realm of this Master Benedict
then?"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast asked.
"Master Benedict is a genuine premium-grade divine god. He can be ranked among the top one
hundred divine gods here in our space sea.
He is also quite proficient in swordsmanship. As a matter of fact, I hope to learn some sword skills from
him,"
the young man continued.
"Top one hundred, you say? How many governing gods are there in your space sea?" Austin asked.
For this strange and unfamiliar space sea, Austin planned to figure out its overall strength first, before
he could go and explore it to see if he could find any fragments of the road of reincarnation.
It was apparent that the young man in front of him held a high position. Based on his choice of words,
Austin could roughly guess the overall strength of this space sea.
"Pardon me sirs, but do you not belong in our space sea?"
The young man was surprised to find that Austin didn't know about it.
"Well, you can't inquire about our background. Just answer our questions directly,"
Austin ordered calmly.
"My apologies. Please allow me to explain."
The young man was again startled. His body was still not able to move, frozen with fear. He knew that
his life completely depended on the men right in front of him. It was better for him to do everything they
said.
"I've heard from my father that there are about fifty governing gods in this space sea,"
the young man replied, straight to the point this time.
'It seems that the overall strength of this space sea is slightly stronger than that of the Sea of Chaos.
However, considering all the supreme universes which are connected to the Sea of Chaos, then in turn,
the level of strength of the Sea of Chaos will be much higher than this space sea.'
Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast both had the same realization.
It was becoming more and more apparent that the overall strength of this space sea was not as strong
as they thought.
Both Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast let out a sigh of relief.
"Okay, tell me this. Do you know the most powerful person in this space sea?
...or perhaps, the leader?"
Austin asked another question.
"Forgive me sir, but I don't know. The most powerful masters hardly ever appear.
I believe that only those governing gods know who is the strongest in this space sea,"
the young man replied, trying to provide as much useful information as possible.
For a long time, Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast continued to ask the young man question
after question. He, in turn, tried his best to answer every single one of them.
"It seems that this guy doesn't know much, especially about the most powerful group of creatures in
this space sea,"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast whispered to Austin.
"Yes, I think so too,"
Austin discreetly nodded.
"I think it would be better for us to look for someone with a higher status than him to ask,"
he suggested.
"Do you know where we can find a governing god?"
he asked the young man again.
"A governing god? Yes sir, I know one.
He's the leader of the Empyreal City.
He owns a vast land, as well countless creatures who were willing to submit to him.
The leader of the Empyreal City is a very experienced master here in our space sea. He is one of the
very few masters who would occasionally show up around here. I might be wrong but he might actually
be the only one,"
the young man replied.
"That's good enough. Why don't you lead the way and take us to this governing god?"
Austin did not hesitate at all. They didn't have much time.
"What? You want me to lead the way to find the leader of the Empyreal City?!"
The young man was taken aback by Austin's words.
After all, the leader of the Empyreal City was a governing god!
"Dear sirs, I must tell you that he possesses terrifying strength. If we offend him, the consequences will
be beyond your imagination. Do you need time to think about it?"
the young man said cautiously as he looked back and forth between Austin and the chaotic sky-
devouring beast.
"Don't worry about that. We know how to take care of it. Just take us there and I promise you will be
fine,"
Austin said to the young man with a smile this time. He no longer looked intimidating to the lad.
"If you want to live,
do as you're told, and you won't suffer any consequences,"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast warned with his piercing stares.
The young man couldn't do anything. He knew that his life was in the hands of the two strangers in
front of him.
If he didn't lead the way, he would definitely be killed. At least, if he did as they asked, he could still
have a chance to live.
"Well understood! Okay, I'll take you to the leader of the Empyreal City right now,"
the young man replied.
"Well, what are we all waiting here for? Let's go now!"
Austin urged.
Again startled by Austin's booming voice, the young man immediately steered the ship and changed
the direction and headed for the Empyreal City.
Inside the ship, Austin waved his hand and instantly, all the women woke up from their deep sleep.
"Bring my best spiritual fruits and spiritual wine now,"
the young man ordered his servants.
Immediately, the women quickly brought out plates of spiritual fruits as well as jars of spiritual wine.
They carefully placed them in front of Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast.
"Wow, you definitely know how to enjoy life, don't you?"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast exclaimed, smiling as he looked at the spiritual fruits and spiritual wine
in front of him.
"Go ahead and help yourselves!"
the young man said with a smile.
Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast didn't refuse. They began eating the spiritual fruits and
drank the wine.
While enjoying the food, Austin found that the ship had countless figures engraved on its inner walls.
The figures appeared to be of people practicing different sword moves.
The chaotic sky-devouring beast looked in the direction of Austin's gaze. When he saw the figures, he
couldn't help but laugh. "How could anyone be so shameless to carve such bad sword skills on the
walls of a great ship like this? Is the sword inheritance in this space sea that terrible?"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast sneered and rolled his eyes.
He had seen Austin practice his swordsmanship many times. Compared to what was carved on the
walls, Austin's swordsmanship was much better and more effective than most.
"My master's swordsmanship is outstanding among the younger generation of this space sea. That's
why Master Benedict of the Sword Pavilion Sect agreed to accept my master as his disciple.
The sword skills that you see on the wall were put there by my master. He did them all by himself,"
a woman who served them couldn't help but point out.
"Huh? What damn nonsense are you talking about? In the eyes of these two great masters, my
swordsmanship is next to nothing!"
The young man was startled and hurriedly tried to stop the woman.
He knew that the two men were extremely powerful. Moreover, his swordsmanship was definitely not
worth mentioning in front of them.
