"Are they from the Time Chamber Sect?"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast asked.
"Yes. From what I can see, they look like masters from the Time Chamber Sect. And with them are
more than twenty gods of chaos,"
Austin replied with a nod.
"What? You have to be joking!
There're more than twenty gods of chaos?"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast, the leader of the Reincarnation Palace, and the others all exclaimed
at the same time. Shock was masking all of their faces as the revelation hit them.
They were all aware that they couldn't defeat a single god of chaos. There was no chance they could
win against more than twenty of them.
"There's no need to be afraid. We can't defeat the gods of chaos, but I can take you to safety when
they arrive.
I promise,"
Austin said confidently.
"I trust you,"
the leader of the Reincarnation Palace replied.
Because Austin had helped her escape from a god of chaos before,
she knew that Austin had a very brilliant teleportation rune that he could use to teleport away from a
god of chaos.
"Austin, that's great. I can rest easy now,"
Diego added.
"How about this? You will all enter my human world and I'll take you away when the time comes,"
Austin suggested after thinking for a while.
"Okay."
The chaotic sky-devouring beast and the others nodded.
Then, one at a time, they all entered one of Austin's human worlds.
Now that they were safely tucked away, Austin took out a teleportation rune, but he held off activating
it.
First, he wanted to test if the Illusion Skill of Reincarnation he had cultivated could work.
The three Lords of Reincarnation had explained to him that after he successfully cultivated the Illusion
Skill of Reincarnation, he could escape with ease from gods of chaos, so he wanted to give it a try.
A moment later, chaos ensued.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
From every direction, several figures trailed by terrifying energy rushed into the Heavenly Spirit Space
Sea.
They were all gods of chaos.
There were more than twenty of them and each one of them was so tall that they extended into the sky
above them. Every move they made shook the entire Heavenly Spirit Space Sea.
Austin looked around and saw that the space barrier in the Heavenly Spirit Space Sea was constantly
collapsing and spreading outwards like a flimsy spider web.
Without a doubt, the Heavenly Spirit Space Sea was going to explode.
With the smallest amount of energy possible, the gods of chaos could easily shatter a space sea.
So they stood in the void almost motionlessly and emitted endless energy pressure.
As they stared at Austin, bitterness filled their eyes.
"This is Austin? I heard that everyone trembles with fear upon hearing your name,"
one of the gods of chaos asked coldly.
"Yes, I am Austin,"
Austin answered calmly, despite facing more than twenty gods of chaos.
"You are bold. Are you not afraid of us?"
another god of chaos asked.
"No. He's not bold. He's ignorant. We are powerful and if he knew that, he would have tucked his tail
and run by now.
He might be considered outstanding among his peers, but he is still an ant to us, a little stronger one
though.
I could crush him with one finger.
He thinks too highly of himself and
he is going to regret it soon,"
a third god of chaos chimed in, sneering.
"He's right.
The consequences of your ignorance will be very serious.
Austin, I'd like to see you try and escape from us,"
a fourth god of chaos commented, chuckling.
In the short amount of time that the gods of chaos had been there, they had already all locked onto
Austin's aura. Once Austin took any type of action, they would immediately launch an attack.
Their strength was far more advanced than his.
Austin was only a governing god. They were sure that he couldn't escape from them.
"You can try but you can't catch me,"
Austin retorted as he shook his head.
His demeanor was still completely calm. No one was ever so serene when faced with more than twenty
gods of chaos.
"Ha!
Really?
You are still being stubborn.
You think you can escape from us? If you could, we should just commit suicide!"
"Come on! We have to teach him a lesson!"
"He's so naive! What makes him so confident that he can escape?"
The gods of chaos cried out one after another. Ripples of laughter surfaced among them.
They were not in a hurry. They had already surrounded Austin and released their laws to seal the
space.
They were fully confident that Austin was trapped.
For them, catching Austin was a cat-and-mouse game. Before they did anything to him, they wanted to
tease him a little.
"If I escape, will you really commit suicide?
Will you keep your promise?"
Austin asked with a sneer,
staring directly at the god of chaos who had boasted.
"Brat!
You still think there's a chance of you escaping? You are too naive, boy. You're a governing god. I have
enough strength to kill you with just a finger.
Besides, we sealed this whole space. How can you escape?
Stop dreaming!"
the god of chaos yelled, frowning until his entire face was creased with wrinkles.
"You're losing the point. If I can escape, will you fulfill your promise and commit suicide?"
Austin repeated indifferently.
"You..."
the god of chaos began but he was so angry that he was rendered speechless.
Of course he wouldn't kill himself.
At his level, any promise he made in words would resonate with the laws and would be imprinted in the
space, becoming a part of it.
Therefore, no god of chaos would swear or promise anything to others unless he had to.
If he broke his promise, he would be devoured by the laws.
"You're dying, but you still waste time provoking me like this. All right. Let me catch you now.
Then we will know whether you can escape or not!"
Filled with anger,
the god of chaos made a move.
He extended a finger and pointed it at Austin.
Whoosh!
A beam of light flew out of his finger and shot towards Austin.
It was condensed by energy. Halfway through the air, it turned into a black spear and penetrated all the
obstacles, releasing a terrifying energy pressure.
Since he was a god of chaos, he could unleash immense attack power with just a single move.
Although his spear was condensed from energy, it was much more powerful than all the secret
cultivation methods.
Austin felt its power and looked taken aback.
Although he could defeat any governing god he wanted using his current strength, he was still weak
when facing a god of chaos.
It was true that the higher his enemy's realm was, the less likely it was that he could challenge his
enemy and win.
