Just then, Rosalynn spotted Larkin emerging from the guest room.

“The medicine you guys prescribed really works. He’s looked much better these past two months,”

“Not bad, but he had a nightmare last night, Rosalynn replied.
“Okay, I’ll have someone bring over some sedatives later,” Larkin nodded. “Erica could use them too.”
“How did she sleep last night?” Rosalynn asked.
“She woke up crying twice, Larkin said, looking down. “She’s always been empathetic, and with Mary

“I understand.”
