Chapter 829 - 829 Calling the Police

829 Calling the Police

So what if they had made the reservation first?

The Meng family was rich and powerful, so the room should naturally belong to them.

These girls should just get lost. If her precious daughter didn’t want to eat with them, then they certainly wouldn’t be sharing the private room.

If it hadn’t been for the fact that the girls were the same age as Meng Ling, Madam Meng would have had them carted away by security.!!

“Hurry and get rid of them,” Madam Meng told the waiter.

These girls obviously didn’t know what was best for them. They would do well to scurry out of the Chunlai Hotel before things escalated further.

This time, Yao Ran couldn’t help the small smile that crept into her face. This was all according to her plan.

After getting Madam Meng’s orders, the waiter squared his shoulders. Now that he had someone powerful to back him up, he would make the most out of the opportunity.

“Security! Get over here quickly and drive these rascals out!”

Five guards had paused by the entrance after rushing over earlier. Hearing another round of summons, the men strode forward and headed toward Yao Tang and the others.

“Miss, please come with us,” the head of the team said in an imposing voice.

Yao Tang didn’t budge. She merely raised her head and glanced at him with her usual blank expression.

“You have been asked nicely, but you refuse to listen. Don’t blame us for resorting to force.”

The man gestured at his comrades, signaling them to take action.

They reached out and were about to grab Yao Tang.

Bang!

Before anyone knew it, the head guard was kicked to the side. He groaned and clutched his waist, his face ashen.

Qin Hao suddenly appeared.

He was the one who had booted the guard. When the others saw this, they all lunged at him with their batons.

Qin Hao was no stranger to such encounters, and he knocked the men out with ease. When he was done, he dusted off his hands and approached Yao Tang.

“Miss Yao. Are you guys all right?”

He glanced at her friends anxiously and only relaxed after confirming that no one was injured.

Yao Tang tilted her head to the side and asked curiously, “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be discussing some business matters with Cheng Yan?”

The two of them had just walked off to handle some work affairs, so how come he was here?

“Oh,” Qin Hao said sheepishly and tapped his nose. “Brother Cheng sent me on an errand to deliver something, and I just happened to pass by. It’s a good thing, too, or these bastards would have had to pay with their lives for laying a hand on you.”

Yao Tang raised an eyebrow. He said he was on an errand, but his hands were empty. He didn’t look like he was here to deliver anything at all.

Sensing her skepticism, Qin Hao rubbed his hands awkwardly before clasping them behind his back.

He grinned innocently at Yao Tang, fervently hoping that she hadn’t seen through his excuse.

“You delinquents! How dare you cause a commotion at the Chunlai Hotel? You even beat up our security guards. I’m calling the police right now. I will have you arrested for this!”

The waiter was coasting through a mix of outrage and panic, but he still refused to admit his role in the whole debacle.

Qin Jing was livid at this point, disgusted by the man’s talent in twisting the truth.

“I’ve already shown you my evidence. We booked the private room first. Why would you chase us out? We should be the ones calling the police to arrest you for misconduct and discrimination!”

Logically speaking, nobody wanted to drag this matter to the authorities. But this waiter was just too much!

Not only was he denying his mistake, but he was also pinning the blame on them.

As it was, the waiter had discarded whatever guilt he had harbored after seeing that Madam Meng was on his side. He felt confident to boot the girls out.

It was Madam Meng who had instructed him to get rid of them, anyway.

In the worst-case scenario, he could just say that he was only following orders.

“This private room has been reserved for Madam Meng’s convenience all year round. She has the prerogative for its usage and can come whenever she wants. Even if you had booked it, if Madam Meng decides to use the room, then it shall be given to her!”

The waiter could tell from the girls’ accents that they weren’t from Beijing. This should be their first time at the Chunlai Hotel, too.

At this point, even if he spun a ridiculous tale to back himself up, these bumpkins would have no way of knowing whether he was telling the truth or not.

He raised his chin proudly. He had Madam Meng’s support; what was there to fear?

As for the restaurant’s rules, he was the only one who had handled both reservations. He could make up any story he wanted to suit his needs.

Qin Jing scoffed. The waiter didn’t know it yet, but she had already seen through his little scheme.
