The Thai, Shadisong, must have been in contact with Wendy, so no wonder he said hello to me.
I joined my hands politely again. “My name is Tom, and I used to be Wendy’s assistant. But now I’m
not, because we have conflicts and I got fired."
He felt sorry for it. “Sorry, no wonder you threw away the work card. I saw the job description on the
card and I took the liberty to bother you out of my curiosity.”
“It doesn’t matter.”
He was polite to ask, “Mr Fang, may I ask you a question again?”
“Please.”
“Why are you having trouble with Ms Bai?”

Wasn’t Wendy having an affair with him?

If only relying on the function and reliability of the software itself, or the technical level, Wendy would
certainly be unable to win the competition.
Unless she’ d like to make sexual bribery with the bosses of BTT Group, she would certainly be able to
get the project. Because she was the most beautiful woman among those competing companies.
But now, it wouldn’t work. The special reception was even rejected by her.

“Indeed, it’s not been decided yet. But it’ s alright to talk to you. In fact, our senior management officers
tend to choose the company of Silicon Valley. You know, their technology is more reliable.”
At his words, I nodded and agreed , and then said without intention:
“But I think you shouldn’t just think about the reliability of the technology. You should also think about
other things, some of which are even more important than the technology.”
“Oh? What do you think about it?” He seemed to be curious again.
I took a sip of beer and thought about it. I would be in a bad mood if the project was taken by Wendy, or
even the American team or the Indian people.
