they left.
Gloria kept her eyes on Nicole’s figure as she left while Daniel comforted her softly, “The kids know
what they’re doing. If Nicole says it’s not serious, then it must be not serious.”
Gloria sighed helplessly and then turned to Karen. “Karen, why don’t you sit down? It seems like
serving soup isn’t something you can handle.”
