In Alec’s villa, Jenny was not asleep when Alec came home. She was calling someone on the phone.
“I don’t care how long ago it was. You must get it checked. I will not allow anyone to tarnish my
grandfather’s name after his death.” After that, Jenny hung up. She was obviously in a bad mood.
Alec went to her side and pulled her into his arms. “Are you still looking into Gilbert’s identity?”
