Yi Tianyun’s boat was pulled by the Nether water Shark that he has tamed earlier. The other three members of his party were surprised as this was the first time that this kind of thing ever happened.
“They listen to your orders?” Ren Liangchen asked surprisedly. Yi Tianyun just shrugged his shoulder as he tied a rope that the shark pulled to the boat.
Their boat was now faster than before, and much faster than Liu Long’s speed!
“Yeah, row your boat like an actual idiot!” Yi Tianyun said sarcastically to Liu Long as his boat passed Liu Long’s.
Yi Tianyun didn’t capture all the Sharks, but as the shark realized that they couldn’t get to Yi Tianyun, they immediately shifted their target to Liu Long’s boat once again.
“Quick! The shark is catching up!” Liu Long said nervously, ignoring Yi Tianyun’s taunt for now. while he was ridiculing Yi Tianyun just a moment ago, what was happening now seemed more like a slap to the face!
“I never thought that the brat was a beast tamer! Damn it!” Liu Long said as he got furious. Now, Ren Liangchen got the upper hand, and Liu Long didn’t like it one bit!
The same surprise feeling was also found on everyone else’s face. They never thought to see a beast tamer in action in this place!
“What’s wrong? Why are you guys looking at me like that?” Yi Tianyun said innocently to his party member.
“Little Brother Yi, are you a beast tamer?” Ren Liangchen asked curiously.
“Well, you can put it that way. I mean, I just tamed a beast, right?” Yi Tianyun said, trying to act dumb.
He didn’t want to tell them his real identity as he didn’t see the need to do that, but Yi Tianyun knew that no beast tamer could tame a beast that fasts!
“So, you spared the Nether water Shark earlier just to capture them?” Leng Hu asked curiously. He knew that the situation back then was very chaotic.
He never saw somebody froze while their life was in danger, so he thought that Yi Tianyun must have some form of a plan to save himself, but he never thought that Yi Tianyun would tame the shark!
“Yeah, if you hurt them or kill them, we wouldn’t have any shark to pull our boat right now.” Yi Tianyun said casually with a slight hint of a smile on his face.
“Brother Yi, don’t surprise us like this! you could’ve told us beforehand that you are a beast tamer!” Yang Zhiwen said as he began finally returned to his senses.
“Well, from my experience, not that many people believed that I am a beast tamer until they saw it for themselves!” Yi Tianyun said honestly.
The three of them looked at each other as they knew that Yi Tianyun’s words were true. A beast tamer was a rarity among the rare, so people wouldn’t believe that you were that special before seeing the proof for themselves!
But they also knew that Yi Tianyun’s way to tame a beast was a little bit peculiar. It was supposed to be hard for a beast tamer to tame a creature like Nether water Shark in their environment while having a buck load of things that the tamer had to consider for their own safety.
“Let’s just say that this is my contribution to help us get to Ghost World faster, and as thanks for inviting me to join your party!” Yi Tianyun said confidently with a warm smile on his face.
“Sure, but now we felt guilty of thinking that you might be frozen scared from seeing the shark for the first time. I hope that you forgive us for that!” Yang Zhiwen said sincerely.
“I don’t really mind. It’s normal that you’d arrive at that conclusion considering the situation back then.” Yi Tianyun said casually.
“But we are grateful that you are willing to join our little party. Look at Liu Long on the back, we successfully pass him, and now he is in trouble himself!” Yang Zhiwen said as he looked at Liu Long’s boat satisfied.
As they kept advancing through the river, they finally reached the shore. Although the Netherworld River was still stretching far ahead, Ren Liangchen decided to ground the boat at this little shore.
“We have to stop here!” Ren Liangchen said as the boat touched the ground.
Yi Tianyun noticed that the shore was covered with a mist that made it hard to see what laid beyond the shore. Yi Tianyun tried to sense anything with his spiritual energy, but he still couldn’t see anything!
It seemed the mist also blocked a sensing ability. Yi Tianyun realized that the closer they got to the Ghost World, the harder the path became.
“This place should be the Fog of Death. This is the place that makes it harder to advance as it was easy to get lost in it!” Ren Liangchen said worriedly.
Yi Tianyun nodded his head in understanding. The Netherworld Passage Chart has the map, but it wasn’t marked in detail, so Yi Tianyun knew that the item wouldn’t help him here.
It would be dangerous if he walked into a trap or a demon beast that specialized in this type of place!
“If I knew Ming Chen has been in this place, I’m sure that I would be able to get through this place safely, but did he really come through here?” Yi Tianyun said to himself as he began to wonder how to pass this mist.
