Chapter 1667: Turning tides, changed from chesspiece to player

Walpurgis Academy, lecturer hall.

Natsuki, Ikaros, Astrea, Nagisa, and Kanon came to the third floor along with Wu Yan.

They stood in front of a door.

Creak

The door opened as if on cue.

A silver-haired guy in a suit opened the door. He gestured for them to enter although he had his guard up judging by his alert eyes.

He is prepared to fight against Wu Yan and his squad of ladies in knight equipment.

Wu Yan, Natsuki, and Ikaros looked beyond Shin.

"Ah, you worked hard, Scarlet Eyes."

The elegant teenager turned around with a happy look. He couldn't hold back his praise.

"Oh, what was that arrow?! It was stronger than Tyrant Rex's Gram magic circuit. And, what was that bow? What kind of circuit did you install on it?"

Wu Yan entered the room without minding his questions.

Natsuki, Nagisa, and Kanon roamed their gaze over the grinning teenager.

They weren't here the last time.

They knew someone was using Wu Yan but they didn't know his look.

They concluded different things upon seeing the teenager.

Nagisa knew there was something off about the teen's smile.

Kanon felt like this teen had a viper aura.

Natsuki just smiled when she saw the teenager.

The teen also took note of the new three new ladies.

He praised them like he was watching art.

"Even Magnus' squad might lose in terms of attractiveness. I wonder if your dolls are able to perform better than Magnus?"

Wu Yan ignored the teen again.

Shin was extremely anxious.

Unlike last time, he had his whole squad with him where it took only one automaton to hold Shin captive last time.

Shin had no confidence he could handle the ladies.

Although he hates to admit it, he can't control this situation.

Unlike Shin, the teenager just shrugs while looking out the window.

"Oh, looks like your target is still alive."

Wu Yan looked out at the field.

Since this lecture hall is on the third floor, they could see the arena from there.

Rather, they could see what was left of the arena from here.

A giant crater while guards formed defensive lines to evacuate the students.

The discipline committee is also helping with investigations.

Even the professors were sent out of the crater.

Inside the crater, there was only Magnus and the principal.

Meteor Shower should have been enough to wipe the principal off the face of the earth.

They're discussing something from the looks of it.

They couldn't read the conversation from this distance.

But, anyone could guess they're zoning in on the perpetrator.

"Looks like the principal just made Magnus his bodyguard. I see, so he can do it like this."

The teenager is just watching with glee.

"Looks like you're going to have to fight that monster."

"Monster?"

Wu Yan asked as if scoffing.

"You're afraid of Magnus?"

"Of course, I am afraid of him!"

The teenager looked nonchalant.

"Each one of his automatons could fight any one of the 13 Rounds. Even Shin would have trouble fighting against him, no, it's impossible."

"Granted, if my Complete System Vector could do the things you claimed you saw in another place, I wouldn't be afraid of Magnus."

Wu Yan said nothing, he just smiled.

"Okay, what's your next plan?"

The teen curled his lips.

"My Granville house will aim Henriette over and over again. Unless you can protect her 24-7. Henriette, poor Henriette, she's gonna be so vulnerable~"

Wu Yan said nothing while Cedric threatened him.

Wu Yan just walked out of the room without saying anything.

"Hey, you're a wanted fugitive."

The teenager warned him.

"I can hide your identity, do you want my help?"

Wu Yan jeered.

"You think I need to hide in the dark like you?"

Wu Yan left the meeting room.

The teenager wasn't happy to see this.

"Young Master."

Shin asked.

"Is the plan foiled?"

Cedric grinned again.

"Judging from his attitude, we can expect more moves from him."

Shin trembled.

His master regarded Wu Yan as a player, not a chess piece he could use.
