Chapter 239: The Eve of the Final Battle
Noon of the second day.
In front of the towering Elven Gate, the Elven Army had already established multiple lines of defense. Rows and rows of elite elven soldiers stood under the sunlight, their swords flashing with light.
In a day and a half, the ice royal court had gathered all the elites within the empire’s borders. The Elven Gate had already been filled with over 100,000 elite soldiers.
The Sixth Elder stood on the high city walls, a cold smile on his face.
“In the history of the continent, all the creatures that challenged our Elven Order have been eliminated by us.”
“We have already gathered the most elite soldiers of the major cities. I believe that even if the barbarians were to come out in full force, they will not be able to defeat us.”
The Fifth Elder smiled and said, “If they dare to come, we will make sure that they never come back. If they are afraid of our strength and do not dare to fight, then we will march straight in and wipe out the entire human race of the Northern Lands in one fell swoop!”

He hesitated and said, “They are not coming in our direction, but seem to be retreating! They are retreating to the south!”
The three Elders all looked at him. The Second Elder frowned and said, “Are you saying that you saw it with your own eyes?”

The Sixth Elder lifted the elf up and his eyes were about to crack. “Who is the leader of that army?!”
The elf said with a trembling voice, “A… A young man…”
The Sixth Elder’s expression changed drastically. He looked at the other two Elders who were equally shocked and angry and roared, “Su Han!”

Ice City was a huge main city near the border of the Elven Empire. Normally, this huge main city had five armies guarding it.
However, yesterday, the five legions of Ice City had sent out four troops to support the Elven Gate in the final battle. Now, only one army was guarding the city.
In the morning, the Lord of Ice City climbed up the high city wall as usual and observed his huge city.
