At the end of the day, it wasn’t actually Jun Mohuang who went to look for the jade-horned python of her own accord. She’d been dragged into it by these people.
“This rich miss is more menacing and evil than a venomous snake!”
“Sixth Miss Jun seemed so worried about Jun Mohuang, I thought she was a nice and kind person. How wrong I was!”

Everyone around was sighing and shaking their heads. They’d gathered around initially to watch Jun Mohuang make a fool of herself as they heard that she had gone to look for the jade-horned python.
Now that they knew she’d been hurt by someone else, they started pitying her and showing concern for her instead.
“The gates have closed, but Jun Mohuang hasn’t entered yet. Where could she have gone?”
“She might’ve been killed by Su Zhijing already.”
“Eh, what’s everyone doing around here? What’s going on?”
Jun Mohuang pretended to be walking past the crowd as she asked as if out of curiosity.
After watching this drama play out, it was about time she appeared for some closure.
“Jun Mohuang, where did you go?”
The missing lead had finally appeared before them. Everyone was keen to know what had gone on with her.
“I’ve been in the capital, I didn’t go anywhere.”
Jun Mohuang continued looking innocent and oblivious.
“That’s good. Your sixth sister wanted to trick you into the Forest of a Thousand Illusions to look for the jade-horned python.”
A number of people began explaining to her what exactly had happened.
Jun Mohuang appeared shocked to have just found out the “truth”. “Thank you for all your concern. My sixth sister tried to get me to go to the Forest of a Thousand Illusions this morning. I was afraid of the danger, so I left the house, but stayed within the capital’s bounds. Fortunately, I didn’t actually go there, otherwise…”
“Jun Mohuang, you’ve got to watch out for your sixth sister, she’s not a good person.”
There were some people trying to remind her out of goodwill.
“I know, thank you for your concern. I’ve always seen her as a good sister, I can’t believe she tried to hurt me! I’m going to take her to the family head so I can have some justice served!”
Jun Mohuang seemed genuinely furious as she clenched her fists.
Su Zhijing and Jun Moxue had similar strength. They’d suffered collateral damage in the fourth level of the spiritual realm, and were both panting on the ground. Both their pretty faces were swollen badly.
Jun Mohuang grabbed Jun Moxue’s collar and easily dragged her out of the place as if she was a slaughtered pig.
Su Zhijing’s lips quivered as she saw her. She wanted to expose Jun Mohuang’s true self and let everyone know that she’d been lying, but as she saw her eyes that seemed to be holding daggers, Su Zhijing felt a chill down her spine, and couldn’t bring herself to say anything.
She was actually so afraid of her!
“Scram. And don’t you dare tell anyone about today. Otherwise, I’ll chop your tongues off!”
Su Zhijing hated her vulnerability and the looks of disdain everyone was showing her. These peasants were so daring to mock her like that!
After issuing the threat, she rolled her sleeves up and left pathetically.
Not only was her threat ineffective, it even backfired and made the crowd more averse to her.
“Pfft!”
Who did Su Zhijing think she was? She was just a cheap and evil woman. She landed herself in this state while trying to harm someone else. It served her right!
