"No, thanks. I trust you. I'm leaving now. Thank you for the delicious food." After that, Lily took her bag
and left Oscar's house slowly.
The man looked at her back, and then looked at the bag. The corners of his mouth rose, and his eyes
flashed with an unreadable light.
It was already dark outside. Lily soon found a hotel and checked in.
She locked the door and put her bag on the bedside table. She didn't control herself anymore and
collapsed on the bed, unwilling to get up again.
Her tired body was finally freed. She covered herself with the quilt, and a deep sleep instantly occupied
her brain. The woman could no longer bear it. She fell asleep gradually.
On the second day, when the sun just rose, Lily woke up. She packed up simply and went straight to
the Qin Group.
That man had been so cruel that took her blood and left her alone in the hospital, ignoring her.
Sitting in the taxi, she sneered.
The child she gave birth was regarded as a chip by his biological father for another woman.
"Here we are." The driver's sudden voice interrupted her thoughts. Then Lily realized what had
happened. After paying the bill, she walked towards the Qin Group with heavy steps.
The security guards and receptionists at the gate all knew her. Even though the news of her divorce
with Kevin had provoked many attention recently, no one dared to stop her.
So she entered the elevator smoothly.
Lily didn't meet anyone on the way, so she found Kevin's office easily.
She walked quickly to the door. When she was about to reach out the doorknob, a black figure
suddenly appeared in front of her and blocked her way.
She raised her head and saw it was Baron, who looked embarrassed.
"Madam, no one is allowed to enter without Mr. Qin's permission." Baron reached out to stop her.
"Get out of my way!" Lily shouted. She looked at Baron coldly.
Baron was startled by Lily's shout. He took a few steps back, but soon stopped. He didn't dare to let
anyone in without the permission of Kevin. On the other hand, he was a little afraid of the woman in
front of him. He looked worried.
"Let her in." A cold voice came from the office. Baron breathed a sigh of relief and immediately moved
away to let the woman in.
Lily pushed the door open with a bang and saw Kevin who was sitting on the chair and sorting out
documents.
She walked quickly to him and stared at him.
The two of them didn't say anything. The atmosphere was quiet, and there seemed to be a chill in the
air.
"I want to see the baby." Lily said straightforwardly.
Kevin didn't even raise his head, as if he hadn't heard her voice. He was still dealing with the
documents.
"The blood has been drawn. You promised to let me see the child." She tried her best to control her
emotions, but her clenched fists were trembling slightly.
"You can see the baby, but you have to stay here for a year then you can leave." Kevin raised his head,
with no emotion in his deep eyes.
a year? Let her to stay here with this man for a year?
Shaking off the thoughts in her mind, Lily lowered her head, gnashed her teeth and asked, "why?"
Kevin didn't even raise his head, as if he hadn't heard her voice. He was still dealing with the
documents.
She quickly walked over and pulled the document in front of him, glaring at the man in front of her.
"What do you want?" She went crazy.
Irritated by her action, Kevin looked at her in silence for a while. Suddenly, he stood up and smiled.
There was no emotion fluctuation in his dark and deep eyes.
Looking at the man coming towards her, Lily was a little flustered.
When she thought he would do something, she found that he had already wiped her side and sat on
the sofa in front of her. She glanced at him angrily and sat down on the sofa opposite him.
Kevin slowly poured a glass of water and pushed it in front of her. He picked up the glass and took a
sip.
Lily was confused by the man's series of actions. She didn't say anything and looked at him coldly.
When the woman's patience was about to run out, he said slowly.
"The result has come out. It was matched."
Hearing this, Lily bit her lips and kept silent.
Unexpectedly, her marrow matched with that of Lois. But She didn't understand why this man was so
sure before?
After a pause, Kevin continued, "but she needs chemotherapy. She needs a..."
"She? It's none of my business! " Lily sneered with undisguised disdain in her eyes.
It was the best she can do to donate blood stem cells for that woman. She didn't want to try the pain
again for the rest of her life.
This man couldn't see through Lois. But she was different. She was a woman, so she was the most
familiar with woman.
Lois was a bitch, pretending as an elegant lady in front of the man.
A loud bang resounded through the whole room. There were cracks at the bottom of Kevin's cup. He
looked at her coldly, and the atmosphere around him instantly dropped to the minimum, which made
the room temperature freeze.
Startled by Kevin's reaction, Lily thought what she said irritated the man in front of her.
"What?" She immediately adjusted her mood and met his eyes without showing weakness. Her
constantly clenched hands exposed her panic inside.
Kevin cast a glance at her, lowered his head and took a sip of tea.
"She needs chemotherapy and do further checked. It may take a year for her to accept bone marrow
transplantation." He repeated what he had said before, without looking at her.
The woman looked at Kevin, who was suddenly furious and quickly recovered as usual, and her brain
was stuck for a moment.
He had always been calm and expressionless. What was going on today?
"One year is too long. I don't agree" She answered coldly.
Kevin put down the cup and looked at her expressionlessly, "only one year." He paused and continued,
"you can see the baby once a week during this period of time."
"Really?" Hearing him mention the baby, Lily was a little excited.
However, thinking of what the man said, she controlled her emotions and tried to lower her voice,
without revealing her state of mind.
"I want to see my child four times a week." Lily said calmly.
Since Kevin could threaten her with her child for that woman. If she didn't save Lois according to the
rules, he wouldn't give the child back.
Thinking of this, she only hoped to fight for more opportunity.
