Boris’ inquisitive expression on his face made Ziana alert.
Ziana did wear that pajama to meet Edison at first, thinking it was Boris who had come back with
breakfast.
After finding out that it was not Boris, Ziana immediately went to the bathroom and changed her
clothes.
However, having just climbed out of bed, Ziana didn’t want to be punished by Boris again, so Ziana
improvised, “No.”
Ziana explained to Boris, “After Edison left, I changed it back.”
Boris looked at Ziana, trying to determine the veracity of Ziana’s words.
After a while, Boris snorted, “That’s more like it. From now on, when you go out, don’t wear clothes that
are too revealing.”
“Why do you care about what I wear?” Ziana was speechless. “Boris, you’re too domineering. I have
the freedom to dress as I please.”
“Okay.” Boris licked his teeth, and gently took a dish for Ziana, “You have your freedom to dress as you
please, and I have my freedom to sleep with you.”
“What do you mean?”
Boris looked up at Ziana, and explained casually, “I mean you can wear revealing clothes.”
“Then what?”
“Then I’ll tie you up and love you properly.” Boris’ words were direct and impactful.
Ziana was ashamed and angry, “Why?”
“Because I don’t want other men to see your body.” Boris pulled Ziana’s hand towards him and down
his body.
When Ziana guessed what Boris was going to do, Ziana was so shy that she wanted to withdraw, but
she heard Boris say, “I’m a man, and I know what men are like. Don’t you know how beautiful you are?
I’m already restraining myself a lot, yet I’m still acting this way. If it is other men, do you think what will
happen?”
“Men can’t help but think about sex. It’s determined by their physiology.” Boris leaned in and whispered
a few words in Ziana’s ear, causing Ziana’s neck to visibly turn red. Then Boris smirked and said, “But
I’m not narrow-minded. I want you to be happy, so you can wear normal clothes, but, anything that
reveals your chest or back, you can only wear it for me to see.”
“Got it?”
Ziana’s worldview was shaken by Boris’ words.
She nodded like a chicken pecking at rice and asked, “Is it true that all men are like that?”
“Why would I lie to you?” Boris didn’t change his expression. “Except for your husband, all other
men are bad guys.”
“So, did you remember what I said?”
Ziana pursed her lips. “Oh, I remember.”
“It doesn’t matter if you can’t remember.” Boris smiled brightly, “If I punish you a few more times,
I’m sure you’ll remember.”
Ziana looked at Boris angrily. “I really remembered! I think you just want to use punishment as an
excuse to satisfy your own desires.”
“What else?” Boris was unapologetic. “After we make up, this is all I can think about.”
Boris was so frank that Ziana was left speechless. With Ziana’s lips twitching a few times, Ziana urged
Boris, “Just have your food.”
Not long after the two had finished eating, Yudel came over.
Boris opened the door and as soon as he saw Yudel, he greeted Yudel with a honeyed voice, “Yudel,
have you eaten yet?”
“Didn’t you ask Nell to bring me the meal?” Yudel noticed Boris’ satisfied expression and guessed that
Boris had gotten what he wanted.
Boris smiled, “Yudel, are you full?”
“Hmm.” Yudel was still not used to it.
Compared to Boris acting like a devoted lapdog, Yudel still preferred Boris’ haughty and domineering
manner, where Boris looked down on everyone else.
Boris’ sycophantic behavior made Yudel feel both comfortable and strange.
“What brings you here, Yudel?” Ziana coughed lightly and asked.
“I just wanted to make sure you don’t forget about tonight’s flight,” Yudel said in a way that seemed like
he was saying nothing at all, yet also implying everything.
Ziana was embarrassed by her brother’s teasing and couldn’t bear it.
She replied seriously, “I won’t forget.”
They had agreed to leave Wesbruck after the engagement banquet.
“Okay then. We’ll leave for the airport at seven o’clock.”
Yudel said and left, not wanting to be a third wheel.
After Yudel left, Ziana asked Boris, “When are you going back to Japera City? Are you coming with me
tonight?”
“When I came to Wesbruck, Boris had clung to me like a leech, but now that I was leaving, he probably
wouldn’t have much fun staying here.”
Ziana thought so.
But Boris’ response was completely different from what she had guessed.
Boris hugged Ziana in his arms, and stroked Ziana’s soft shoulder with his large hand, “You go back to
Japera City first. I have something to do here.”
Ziana looked at Boris puzzled, “What’s the matter?”
“Anyway, it’s not about sleeping with women,” Boris joked, always finding ways to tease Ziana.
Seeing Ziana trying to break free from his embrace, Boris pleasingly held Ziana tighter and said, “At the
engagement banquet, I was locked in a room. I need an explanation for that. The royal family’s verdict
was that it was because a maid held a grudge against Winifred, but I was implicated for no reason. I
have to wait for an apology.”
“What will happen to the Lewis Company’s reputation if I leave like this after such a major incident with
Wesbruck holding no one accountable?”
Boris’ reasoning was sound. For families like theirs, especially those with global influence, dignity and
face were extremely important.
They couldn’t lose their dignity, even if they lost everything else.
From an outsider’s perspective, it appeared that Boris was being bullied because of his perceived
foolishness. If he didn’t take a firm stance in this matter, the Lewis Company’s reputation would be at
risk of being ridiculed in the future.
“Okay,” Ziana’s mood was a bit low.
Ziana thought for a moment and said reluctantly, “How about I stay with you? I’ll leave with you after
you finish your business here.”
The two of them had recently reconciled and were in the midst of a passionate and affectionate time,
so Ziana didn’t want to be separated from Boris.
“I do want you to stay, but I can’t.” Boris was more calm and more restrained than Ziana.
Boris kissed Ziana on her lips, “What reason do you have to stay?”
“I’ll tell them I want to explore Wesbruck!”
“No.” Boris shook his head firmly and said, “Wesbruck is not my turf, and there’s also a love rival
here. I can’t relax while you’re here. You must return to Japera City as soon as possible. Japera City is
my turf where I can take care of you no matter what happens, but most importantly, you’ll be safe
there.”
Ziana understood Boris’ meaning in seconds and asked, “Are you still worried about what Mr. Collins,
who kidnapped us, will do?”
“Hmm.” Boris didn’t hide from Ziana, “Besides, Winifred hates you. And this engagement is canceled.
I’m afraid that she will go crazy and come after you. In short, if you stay here, I will be distracted, so
you go back to Japera City, okay?”
Boris talked to Ziana in a soft voice, making Ziana completely overwhelmed.
Ziana nodded obediently, “Okay. Then when are you going back?”
“We haven’t even parted ways yet, and you already miss me?” Boris chuckled and said, “I’ll make sure
to video call you every day to update you on my itinerary. If it’s a short trip, I’ll be back in three or four
days, but if it’s longer, it might take six or seven days. Once you’re back in Japera City, could you do
me a favor and put in a good word for me with Ewen?”
When Boris mentioned Ewen, Ziana couldn’t help but feel a little smug and said, “You deserve it!
Your own son hates you, so you’ll have to figure it out yourself! I won’t help you!”
“Are you so hard-hearted?” Boris teased as his hands roamed over Ziana’s body. “Let me see if there’s
anywhere on you that’s soft.”
“You…”
Boris swallowed all Ziana’s unspoken words.
While Boris was planning for Ziana to leave Wesbruck, Edison was scheming to make Ziana stay.
On Edison’s way back from the guest house, Edison received a call from Princess Lia and headed
straight to the Elegant Poetry Hotel.
The attendant led Edison to a private room where he found his mother, Mr. Collins, and at mysterious
woman.
The woman was dressed in exotic clothing with strange silver jewelry and a black vell covering her
face, revealing only a pair of cold eyes.
“Edison, come and sit here.” Princess Lia beckoned Edison over.
Edison walked over and sat next to Princess Lia, greeting everyone in the room.
Pablo looked at him with a smile, “How did it go? Did you watch Ziana drink the soy milk?”
