Gazing at Alfred's back, Lauren smiled bitterly.
She thought to herself, "What do you want me to do?
"I obviously almost died today, you saw it with your eyes. Why did you still say that I was pretending?
"It would be such a relief if I could just die today.
"Then I won't need to face him again."
Lauren just lay on the ground. She didn't have the strength to get up. The needle in her hand caused
her to bleed. She tore off the tape and pulled the needle out.
The blood couldn't stop flowing down her back. The unsterilized cotton swab was pressed on the
wound, but it kept bleeding.
When the nurse came to check the ward and saw Lauren whose clothes were stained red with blood,
she was shocked.
"Are you trying to die? Why don't you just press the button?!"
Seeing Lauren bleeding like this, the nurse would definitely go to the nurse station to complain about
her later.
"I can't reach it."
Lauren pointed to the button on the head of the bed. She didn't even have the strength to get up. How
could she press the button?
"Do you mean I slandered you?"
The nurse's face went cold suddenly. She thought that Mr. Kent just left angrily. The woman in this

"Don't forget to pay the bills later. You haven't paid for today's ambulance service, surgery, medical

The nurse took out her cell phone and planned to call the police. She was dreaming about reporting to
the head nurse later to get the reward for this.
"My friend can pay for me."
Lauren's lips went pale with pain. She had already lost too much blood. The sutured wound must have
been torn.
This may be God's punishment for her, punishing her for wishing that a man who didn't belong to her
would fall in love with her.
But she had learned her lesson and wouldn't think of that man again.
"Don't play tricks with me." The nurse found it hard to trust her.

Noah immediately flew into a rage when he saw Lauren covered in blood.
"That's how your hospital takes care of patients?"

He was so angry that he immediately went downstairs and drove back to the hospital.
However, when he arrived outside the ward, he saw a nurse running out with red eyes and tears on her
face.
Alfred thought that Lauren was indeed pretending to be weak. She started bullying the nurse as soon
as he left.

When Alfred pushed the door open, he saw Lauren fall into Noah's arms while losing her balance.

"Slap!"
Lauren exhausted all her strength and slapped Alfred in the face. Immediately, red marks appeared on

"Alfred, you are really disgusting. Noah has nothing to do with this. Why do you drag him into this?!"
Lauren was filled with anger.
She would rather die outside than stay in the same room with him.
However, she wanted to leave, but Alfred grabbed her hand.
