Her mind was in a mess, like a layer of mist enveloping her. She seemed as if she were steamed like a
steamed bun in a drawer, feeling uncomfortable and suffocated. She suddenly felt that an ax split the
layer of sultry steam, then saw that Alfred was holding the ax in his hand.
"Alfred— " With a sudden cry, Lauren sat up from the bed with a start. She was in a daze and squinted

Knowing what she wanted now, Lauren got out of bed and opened the window. It was early in the
morning when the warm sunshine streamed into the room and the birds were singing outside the
window.

Not knowing how Alred was doing at the moment, Lauren hurried to see him.
"Alfred?" When she arrived in his room, there were only empty beds. Lauren was a little worried and
went out of the ward to ask the nurse.

where the morgue was.

"Alfred Kent, don't you know that Building A is connected to the morgue? You idiot!" Lauren thought of
