Hidden Identity
"Very good, good performance this time,” Murray said, walking towards her. He signalled to the
principal and everyone cleared the room.
"You haven't answered me. Can you forgive me?” Murray persuaded.
"When you settle your family's affairs, I will think about forgiving you." Melissa was only slightly
annoyed with him. Her main cause for resenting him was his family. There was a Mr. Marc and there
was his mother; both of them were not so easy to deal with. "Would it kill you to send them away?
What's more, my child will be born in a few months. I don't want my child to live in such an
environment.
"I have flown my mother Mr Marc out of the country. The two of them shouldn't have any trouble
abroad. And I have already decided that in the future, apart from living expenses and my basic
expenses, I will give them the rest. Although Mr. Marc usually seems to be extravagant and powerful,
the money he makes is not enough.”
Murray had been working on these things for the past few days. He has talked to Mr. Marc more than
once, and the results of these days have made him even more exhausted.
It's just that he gave an ultimatum to Mr. Marc's son. If it goes on like this, he will cut off relations with
them. His future grandson will be surnamed Melissa. This can be regarded as what motivated Mr.
Marc's son to go back abroad with Mrs. Timothy. Without arguing, they just left.
Melissa smiled with satisfaction upon hearing this result. She stretched out a hand and let him hold it.
When the two walked out of the viewing room, there were many people around the door. Melissa
greeted everyone warmly, with Murray behind her for fear of someone touching her belly. Flanked by
the crowd, the two left the school.
On the way, Murray couldn't help asking, "When did you become the principal of this school?”
Melissa laughed but didn't answer the question.
"How many more surprises do you have that I don't know?" Murray pressed on.
"A lot. You need to take time to learn about them!" Melissa replied, making the two of them laugh, while
they walked hand in hand.
The moment Harley walked out of the gate of the Timothy family villa, he finally felt free. Although his
life was in a bit of a mess right now, he was looking forward to a new life. Not long after, Harley took a
taxi to a well-known apartment complex in the centre of the city in search of shelter.
The location there was good and the complex was lined with guards and up to date security measures;
a feature he found suitable for a public figure like himself.
After getting a room key card from the receptionist, he located his apartment and walked in with a
satisfactory look on his face. He set down his keys and the suitcases that had been brought up by the
concierge and after touring the apartment, set down to arrange his clothes into his wardrobe and
arranged his few other belongings in various positions around the house. The apartment was not as
large as the villa but it was enough for a family of three.
Harley cooked himself a quick meal and while he was in the kitchen, he couldn't help imagining that
one day Nina would accept him again, and their family of three would live an ordinary but happy life
here. Thinking about it, he couldn't help letting out a short chuckle.
Suddenly Harley remembered that there was still a picture of Nina on his phone, so he took it out from
his trouser pockets and entertained her eyes with it.
Hardly had he stared at the picture for a few seconds had a call popped up on the phone screen, with
Jasmine's name displayed on the Caller ID. It was then that he remembered that he hadn't been to the
crew for many days. There were a lot of things including the announcement that Jasmine helped him
receive before, as well as negotiating the commercial endorsement that has not yet been filmed.
"Hey! Jasmine, how did you know my number?" Harley asked, a little surprised as he answered the
call.
Awhile ago, to avoid being scolded and disturbed by Jasmine, Harley directly suspended the use of his
commonly used numbers.
On the other hand, Jasmine heard his lazy tone and wished she could jump out of the phone and land
a slap on his face.
"Harley, when are you going to stop messing around and come to work? I'm so close to losing my job,
you know!"
Hearing this, Harley dropped the spatula in his hand. "I'm sorry
Jasmine, I just moved in today, let's talk about everything at work tomorrow!
However, Jasmine did not deem his words credible enough.
"Wait, if you hang up now, how can I be sure this number will get through tomorrow?" she asked,
furious.
Jasmine was so annoyed. If she hadn't accompanied another entertainer to participate in the show in
the field, Harley would have been done for.
"C'mon, Jasmine. When have I ever lied to you?"
Harley asked in a soft tone. He knew that Harley was angry at him so he tried to pacify him.
"Have you not been on Twitter lately? I saw someone take a picture of you ten minutes ago with the
caption Harley dragging a suitcase homeless on the street."
When he heard that some media took pictures of him on the street and made a big fuss about it, Harley
sighed. "Who said I was homeless? Didn't I just buy an apartment in the city centre?"
Harley smiled dismissively, not taking the news seriously. "I asked you to be normal but every day there
is negative news about you on the Internet. You are about to become a marginal person in showbiz!"
Hearing Jasmine's remarks, Harley remembered that he had not worked seriously for almost a month
since he took leave from the crew last time. The competition in the industry was fierce, and in just over
20 days, his disappearance was beginning to cause his acting career to dwindle. Even the agency was
in a meeting to discuss whether to suspend Harley and remove all packaging and marketing budgets
for him.
"Harley, we have been together for the past few years, you have been working very hard and
motivated. When you come back in two days, I hope to see you rekindle your initial dedication and
diligence!"
Jasmine's words were sincere and touched Harley's heart. He hoped that he could return to the right
track.
It's a pity that Harley's mind has been away from showbiz for a long time, so he still kept a lazy attitude
and replied nonchalantly: "People can’t be at the top forever, if it doesn't work, I'll just quit the
company!"
Meanwhile, Nina was leaning on the bed and eating fruit just as Harley was on the phone with Jasmine.
After undergoing emergency treatment by the doctor a few hours ago, her pain disappeared, but
fortunately, the incision had not been torn. Kasen Paul stood beside Nina, saw her gloom, and kept
talking with her while seated by the bed. "It's been a few days since the baby was born, and we haven't
named her yet."
Nina swallowed the lump in her throat, shook her head and responded, "I haven't thought about it yet.
Why don't you help me think about it.”
Truth be told, Nina and Harley had negotiated the baby's name a few months earlier. At that time, they
were flipping through books and looking up dictionaries. They chose more than ten names and after
much debate, they decided that they were going to decide on a name after the baby was born.
However, times had changed. Nina didn't want to recall those names anymore so as not to recall
memories about Harley which would in turn make her sad.
Since Nina had no idea, Kasen and Ariana looked at each other.
"What name should I choose......'
Ariana hesitated with a long pause.
“How about calling her True Paul? She will be truthful, kind and beautiful. I hope that the baby will be a
sincere person in the future, and at the same time, his dream will come true." Kasen Paul said after
pondering for a moment.
Listening to the meaning of the name and confident that it would suit her daughter, Nina smiled and
agreed. "Okay, then the baby will be called True Paul.”
Ariana had no problem with this either but suddenly remembered something else. "By the way, Nina,
now that you and Harley are separated, let the child follow our surname!" Ariana also smiled slightly,
worried that Nina had concerns in her heart and took the matter alone.
Originally, Kasen Paul had only one daughter, but now he was overjoyed, he had a granddaughter. He
also voted for it. "That's it. The child's name is True Paul!" Kasen Paul announced.
But as the mother of the baby, Nina maintained a neutral attitude.
"Mom and dad, Harley doesn't know about this yet. I think I should discuss it with him first to avoid
disputes in the future.” Nina then picked up her phone and swiped through it partly out of boredom and
partly to avoid her parents pressing on about the child's naming. Coincidentally, she happened to swipe
the popular searches on Twitter and saw Harley walking alone on the street with a suitcase in the dark.
Has he moved out of the villa? Nina's eyes widened in shock as she guessed that Harley must have
argued with Carlee when he went back.
"What are you afraid of? Even if there is a dispute, your parents will solve it for you."
Ariana patted the back of Nina's hand to tell her not to worry about future issues. But Nina was even
more undecided after seeing the news. Even if she couldn't forgive Harley, she still didn't want to make
her own decision about naming their baby without his consent.
"No, let's just give the child a name for the time being, and we'll talk about the surname later," Nina
said, standing her ground with the confidence that Harley would come back to the hospital.
