Chapter 633: Who is the Wicked Person Who Did This?

Su Qianxun looked at the man before her with disbelief. He still gazed at her attentively and without a hint of disgust. She thought that her face had been restored to how it used to be.

But when she looked at the mirror across the bathtub, she saw that her face was still red and swollen. It was even more hideous than before.

“You’re lying.” Su Qianxun immediately wanted to turn her face away.

Long Sijue studied the sorrowful expression on her face. He suddenly lowered his head and kissed her on the lips.

Su Qianxun widened eyes in disbelief. She could not believe that he had actually kissed her!

‘Doesn’t he feel disgusted seeing my monstrous face?’

Long Sijue suddenly pressed her into the water and continued kissing her underwater. His tongue entwined with her small tongue. He only released her when both of them were out of breath.

“Don’t be afraid. You’ll be fine.” Long Sijue kissed her cheeks and stayed in the chilly water with her.

With his company and comfort, Su Qianxun, who had been panicking this whole time, instantly calmed down. She felt that she would be safe as long as he was around.

Due to the horrid weather condition, the helicopter was flying across the sky shakily and almost struck by lightning a number of times. Ye Gu had already broken out into cold sweat. He never feared death, but he feared that something bad would happen to Long Sijue and Su Qianxun.

When the helicopter arrived at the hospital, Long Sijue immediately carried Su Qianxun out of the helicopter. The hospital had already received orders from him and assembled their best medical team. They were all waiting for the patient.

Tang Zui and Gu Mian were there too.

When Gu Mian saw Su Qianxun, who was placed on the bed, she gasped. She looked towards Long Sijue nervously, but all she saw were his tightly knitted brows. He kept holding Su Qianxun’s small hand in his and gazing at her with pain and adoration in his eyes.

Gu Mian could not believe that even though Qianxun’s face had become unrecognizable, Long Sijue did not appear repelled at all. It was the first time she saw this bossy, cold man so anxious.

Tang Zui saw that Gu Mian was standing still in a daze. He held her hand and pulled her over. “Come along to check on her.”

Gu Mian finally snapped out of her reverie. She immediately tried to withdraw her hand, but Tang Zui tightened his grip.

An hour later, after all kinds of treatment, the rash on Su Qianxun’s body eventually faded slightly. Once the doctor gave her an IV drip, he reported her condition to Long Sijue.

“Sir Jue, this young lady has indeed been poisoned. It’s a fatal poison. Fortunate for her, you had dealt with this emergency correctly and managed to slow down the poison as it spread. If there was any delay, I’m afraid that… nothing could be done even if she was sent to the hospital.”

“Oh god, who is that wicked person who did this, trying to murder Qianxun?” Gu Mian was furious, feeling hateful and also heartbroken.

Long Sijue had a grim expression on his face. He ordered Ye Gu to investigate this matter right away.

Ye Gu nodded and left the ward. He would certainly find the culprit!

Long Sijue turned around and gazed at the sleeping young woman in the bed. He told Tang Zui and Gu Mian to head home first.

Gu Mian genuinely worried about Su Qianxun’s condition, so she told Tang Zui that she wanted to stay. She would not be able to calm down if she had to head home now.

Tang Zui did not object and brought her to the ward next to Su Qianxun’s. Ever since Tang Zui left Gu Mian on the expressway before throwing a tantrum when she was home, this was the first time they were seeing each other. Gu Mian could not help but get nervous.

Since they had been waiting for Su Qianxun and Long Sijue in the rain, their clothes were soaking wet. Tang Zui simply dragged her into the bathroom to get a shower together.
