Chapter 1690: Face-slapping, Round 4 (9)
She talked to Little Phoenix as she ran.
After getting some rest on the rock, Little Phoenix’s wounds had healed a little. It panted as it said, “I’m still alive, but if you want to save that horse, you need to move faster. It’s been forced onto a cliff. I’m headed there myself. Hurry up!”
It then sent Feng Wu a map with a flickering red dot on it through its mind.
It was where the horse was trapped.
Taking a deep breath, Feng Wu nodded. “I’m only five minutes away! I’ll be there soon!”
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
She then dashed off.
With the small Demon Chimpanzee, the Demon Chimpanzee would definitely follow her.
She ran past trees, rocks, bushes, and rivers…
She didn’t try to hide her tracks since there was no need to. She simply ran as fast as she could.
The tracks she left behind would give the chimpanzee the direction to follow.
Meanwhile, the Demon Chimpanzee —
After it devoured about half of the river wasps, the rest were finally scared off by its imposing manner.
The river wasps liked to pick on those that were weaker than them and were good at fighting as a group, but they couldn’t withstand something as terrifying as the Demon Chimpanzee!
Other creatures could become very frantic during a fight.
But the Demon Chimpanzee was even worse. It ate its opponents!
How horrible…
Although the remaining river wasps fled in fear, the Demon Chimpanzee didn’t exactly win the battle.
The wasps had surrounded it earlier…
They shouldn’t have broken through its defense, but…
The Demon Chimpanzee was too proud!
It had pulled its hair off earlier to shoot at Little Phoenix.
Sure, the hair would grow back, but it would still hurt the hair follicles.
The Demon Chimpanzee’s defense had been as seamless as steel armor before. Although the river wasps were numerous, they wouldn’t be able to harm it if they couldn’t breach its defense.
But because of the damaged hair follicles, the Demon Chimpanzee was miserable.
These river wasps were everywhere!
They all crawled into its hair follicles!
They then stung it together, and the Demon Chimpanzee didn’t ever want to experience that prickly feeling again.
Luckily, the river wasps finally retreated when the Demon Chimpanzee went berserk.
“Damn you! Damn you, human!!!”
The Demon Chimpanzee bellowed and rushed toward the riverbank.
But Feng Wu and its child were nowhere to be found when it got there. “Damn it!” it roared.
Infuriated, the Demon Chimpanzee lashed out.
All the trees and stones by the river were smashed to pieces.
But what choice did it have apart from going after Feng Wu?
“I’ll cut you into little pieces and roast you when I catch you! I’ll eat you piece by piece!” the Demon Chimpanzee swore.
What it didn’t know was that the girl it wanted to grill had already set a trap for it to jump into.
Feng Wu ran as fast as she could.
The horse was very close. If she didn’t get to it in time, everything would fall apart.
QUICKLY!
Feng Wu could see in her head that she was getting closer and closer to the red dot.
