Chapter 2961 - Tremble

"I! I! Aaaah!" Demoness Yin shrieked as her tripartite soul crumbled. Even at this moment, she still couldn't believe it. She was the rex mundi of Intrepidus, ruler of a world that was seven times the size of Ebonia!

There were only five foundationeers among the godshades, and Demoness Yin had brought almost everyone above the eleventh level of the Cosmic Cartography stage on this excursion. She was all too happy that Yi Daiyan hadn’t reinforced the Sun. Not to mention, she also had Mister Taihe and Meng Ying's army of eight million wonderians on her side. They had forces ten times that of the Sun and more than five times the number of peak elites! It was pure overkill, so there was no way that they could have lost!

But who could have imagined that it would come to this? She was dying in a completely unexpected fashion. The sheer unreasonableness she felt caused her to howl in agony, despair, and regret. Her shriek spread from the blood cocoon to the entire battlefield. The astrons of her face persisted a little longer, her expression twisted as it began fading away into oblivion.

"Waaah!" Seeing how she and the godshades had ended up, she couldn't help but cry out in pain.

"There's no need to wonder any longer. You and all the other godshade foundationeers will perish without exception. Since you came all the way here, I won’t let any of you return to Intrepidus. No matter how great the foundations of the godshades are, losing five foundationeers and all your astral gods above the eleventh level of the Cosmic Cartography stage will see your kind fall from grace. Other foundationeers on Intrepidus will no doubt use the chance to exterminate what's left of your people like we did with the ebons. Demoness Yin, there has never been and will never be a bigger sinner of Intrepidus than you."

Tianming's eyes were still filled with immense rage. Demoness Yin felt more and more pitiful, having to hear that before dying. "All of this is the price you pay for lusting after me and what's mine! Did you think you could slaughter me and the denizens of the Sun with abandon? It's too bad for you that our foundations, fighting spirit, and arsenal weren't things you could fathom."

His deep voice felt like a whip that continued dealing more and more hurt to Demoness Yin. She howled in frustration as her soul scattered before Tianming's eyes, leaving no trace of her to be found.

Tianming got his spatial ring back, as well as Demoness Yin's. The two remaining super manna were still present in his ring, along with the chaos worldbangle and other things. Demoness Yin's spatial ring contained many treasures, but he didn't give them a good look. After all, the treasures she’d had on her person were floating about right in front of him, including the Bloodweaver, the needles that had given him so much grief from before.

After losing their owner, the Bloodweaver returned to its unclaimed state. It was said that fortuna-class cosmic artifacts had artifact souls crafted from fortuna-class nova wildbeasts. The Primordial Demonshade was one such item. Not even Ebonia had beasts of that class. Such a powerful beast would no doubt have higher intelligence than weaker ones, which would be clear from the air they gave off.

The artifact soul of the Bloodweaver watched as what was formerly its prey pulled it out of his body. Tianming was giving off the kind of aura that caused it to shudder, so it didn't resist at all and let him pull it out, submitting itself to him. There was a reason killing was a great way to gain treasures; the killer was usually stronger than the victim, so their artifacts would usually submit themselves in fear. Tianming had obtained the Bloodweaver, but he wasn't sure if he would use it yet, as there were more urgent things on his mind.

"Ling'er...." The cocoon formed by Bloodweaver quickly crumbled. Tianming looked around in a rush and saw that the fight had reached its zenith. He made a slight move, only for blood to spill all around him. Even if his blood gave off starlight, it was still a sign that his heptastar cosmic physique had sustained immense damage and required a period of recovery. But with Mister Taihe and the wonderians still fighting, Tianming had no choice but to fight no matter how badly he was hurt! If the Sun could prevail against such odds, it would be the biggest miracle since the time Orderia had transformed into the Sun.

"Taihe... Wonderians!" Tianming grit his teeth and endured it with the beasts that were connected to him and charged into the fray!

......

Some time before that, Ying Huo and the others' cocoons had emerged from the lifebound space to stop Demoness Yin from finishing her Sky Starvore Fiendart. Feiling had felt their emergence and knew that Tianming was still fighting to save himself. He was someone who wouldn't accept his fate sitting down!

She tried to make her way there as soon as possible, but Mister Taihe was powerful and tenacious. He brought some hundred thousand wonderians to keep her from advancing so that the Sky Starvore Fiendart could be carried out to completion.

The Sun had far fewer forces than the enemy, so the struggle was a bitter one. Fortunately, Tianming's desperate fight had given her some relief in her berserk, golden state. She focused her entire wrath and attention on Mister Taihe!

"Foolish ant... you’ll pay the price for interfering!" Feiling's usual sweet voice had adopted a deep, awe-inspiring timber. She sounded like an elevated and inviolable existence. As Soulburn went on, the astrons in her body shuddered from the violent forces that pulsed within her body. It seemed like her fragile form would shatter at any moment.

"Her energy doesn't seem stable!" Mister Taihe saw the flaw in her current state. "What kind of treasure does this woman have for her to be able to unleash such boundless energy?" Greed filled his mind and leaked out of all five of his pupils. "I'll take her life while she's hampered!"

The white-haired fiend zipped around the ranks of astral gods like white flashes, almost instantly making his way to the golden avatar. The two of them wreaked havoc across the battlefield. The golden deity's feathers formed storms that were compacted by the spacetime capabilities of Perpetia, grinding away at Mister Taihe's flesh! Then, a golden spear came piercing; Mister Taihe felt his heart skip when he witnessed Feiling's deific gaze. He sensed that her wrath had reached its zenith!
