Chapter 6064: Insist On Being A Ghost

His request seemed simple - make him feel joy and even a simple painting could do.

A painting for Six-sense Pagoda was an absurd deal. Unfortunately, no one could fulfill this request because they didn’t know what he was looking for.

Final and Ouyang Dragon God couldn’t help staring at the pagoda, unable to take the final step. Moreover, doing anything foolish was suicidal at the ghost market.

“I’m interested in your painting.” Li Qiye approached and told Final Desolate God.

He became the center of attention afterward.

“A mortal.” Someone said: “What the hell is he doing?”

Final was on a different level compared to anyone present yet a mortal spoke with him in a casual tone.

“Who are you?” Final was surprised because mortals should tremble before him.

“The case can be opened.” Li Qiye said.

“Junior, haha, you’re rather bold.” White-robed Greenman laughed while staring at the impudent mortal.

“You are that greatest mortal.” Final recognized Li Qiye.

“What greatest mortal?” Those nearby were perplexed.

“The one from Splendor Terra, even Allmountain Emperor lost to him.” An ancestor said.

“He’s that strong?” They didn’t believe it.

“There’s something off about him.” The ancestor who saw the whole thing told everyone the events.

“You released the monsters that killed my descendant?” Ouyang Dragon God glared at Li Qiye, referring to the clan master’s death at the fortress.

“I guess so.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Then get ready to die!” Ouyang Dragon God stepped forward with murderous intent.

“Step aside.” Final interrupted him and asked Li Qiye with curiosity: “You can open this seal?”

“Easy.” Li Qiye said.

No one believed him because Final himself couldn’t open it.

“Hahaha, I want to see you try.” White-robed Greenman laughed.

Final remained skeptical because Li Qiye was not a cultivator.

“If a mortal could release Desolate Ancestor’s seal, so could anyone else.” A big shot sneered.

“He knows not the significance of the seal.” An expert said.

“Sir, could you draw a painting to bring me joy?” The middle-aged man interrupted to everyone’s astonishment.

“Also easy.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Hmph, I hope your ability can back up your tongue.” White-robed Greenman snorted.

“There’s no way a mortal can draw something to manifest joy out of a grand ghost. Not even Final Desolate God bothered to try.” Other cultivators agreed.

“He can’t wield a primal artifact either.” Another said.

A mortal doing something they couldn’t was humiliating to the crowd.

“Please, Sir.” The man became emotional and prepared a brush and paper for Li Qiye.

“We’ll see how easy it is now.” Everyone waited eagerly to see Li Qiye make a fool out of himself.

“Hurry up now, can’t change your mind.” A big shot laughed and said.

“I don’t believe in sorcery.” Ouyang Dragon God had no choice but to be patient, holding off on killing Li Qiye.

“Sigh, insisting on being a ghost instead.” Li Qiye stared at the man and shook his head.

“That’s why I desire happiness and joy.” The man said.

“Fine, I’ll give you a little bit of joy.” Li Qiye picked up the brush and began to draw.

The result was crooked and awkward like a child’s doodle. After a while, it resembled a withered old tree with three branches. The trunk was lifeless with cracked barks. Even a child could draw something grander than this with more soul and life.
