Chapter 365 Become A Partner
The following day, while Amelie was still sleeping, Lamont had already left the room.
Looking at the quiet living room, he guessed that Amelie hadn’t gotten up yet.
He walked into the kitchen as usual and put on an apron.
At this time, Amelie was still asleep.
She went through so much last night that she couldn’t sleep until midnight.
Fortunately, when it stopped raining after midnight, she could fall asleep.
Amelie vaguely heard something outside. She then opened her eyes.
She glanced at the time at hand. It was already eight o’clock in the morning.
She quickly sat up straight.
“How can I sleep for so long? I’m going to the studio today! I have to go there anyway.”
Amelie made up her mind and completely forgot that Lamont was still at home.
She rummaged through her clothes, vaguely heard the movement from outside, immediately became nervous, and
walked to the door in fear.
“Is there anyone outside?”
She quickly picked up the stick in the corner, ready to go out.
Suddenly, she remembered what happened yesterday.
Was there someone outside? Could it be Lamont? Did he get up already?
“God, how did I forget it? Lamont spent the night at home yesterday.” Amelie murmured.
Amelie thought of this, so she quickly changed her clothes and left the room in a hurry.
When she walked out of the bedroom, she smelled the aroma of food.
Amelie smelled the fragrance, and her stomach growled.
She was starving.
Walking cautiously to the kitchen door, she saw Lamont making breakfast.
Mr. Byron, it’s really amazing you got up so early.”

Amelie said in a low voice.
“Is it still early? It’s too late for me.”
Lamont didn’t look back, but his words were full of irony.
Amelie didn’t speak but smiled.
She felt delighted to have breakfast.
Ten minutes later, Lamont came out with two plates.
“I made it simple. The kitchen has few ingredients, but these should fill you up.”
As Lamont said, he sat down at the dining table and ate calmly.
Amelie looked at the food on the plate and was satisfied.
“It doesn’t matter. It’s all that I like to eat.”
She picked up a fork and began to eat.
“Just enough for you to eat. Have you not been to the studio these days?”
“Huh? How do you know?”
Amelie asked curiously.
“Nothing. I guess it.”
In fact, Lamont had been visiting Amelie at the studio for several days but had not seen her. Only then did he know
that Amelie was always at home.
“I’ll go to the studio in a while. Can you give me a ride?”
Amelie suddenly thought of Rex, and an idea came into her mind.
If she could have dressed up and left with Lamont, Rex’s subordinate wouldn’t have found her.
“Of course. But… why did you suddenly ask me to send you off? Why? Shouldn’t you tell me?”
Lamont was brilliant, and he guessed what was wrong right away.
Amelie didn’t speak, but her eyes dodged a little.
“Mr. Byron, you overthought. I just don’t want to take a cab. Besides, you’re a warm-hearted person, so I thought
you could help me. Since it’s inconvenient for you, then forget it.”

Amelie had no choice but to take back her words.
No problem. I can help you.”
Lamont said calmly.
“Huh? Really? No take-backs!”
Amelie said happily, then picked up the milk and took a sip.
After breakfast, the two set off.
Amelie successfully left the apartment during the day without being noticed by Rex’s subordinate.
Sitting in the car, she breathed a sigh of relief.
“Who are you hiding from? Why are you so cautious?”
Lamont glanced at Amelie and asked curiously.
“No one. You sweat it.”
Amelie quickly explained.
“Am I making it that obvious? I almost blew my cover in front of Lamont.” Amelie thought.
Amelie took a deep breath, then looked out the window.
When they reached the downstairs of the studio, Amelie got out of the car in a hurry.
She could finally get rid of Lamont. She was so scared all the way.
“Mr. Byron, thank you very much for helping me. I’ll repay you anyway. Can we have dinner together when you are
free?”
Amelie took the initiative to express her gratitude..
“Of course. Anytime.”
The two waved their hands and separated.
Amelie hurried up the elevator, and the smile on her face disappeared.
The fake smile she just put on was just to let Lamont know her sincerity.
She just walked into the studio, and Linda walked over.
“Well, there you are. I thought you were done with this studio.”

Linda complained.
“I just want to rest for two days. You take it too seriously. Someone else might think something wrong with me.”
Linda held Amelie’s hand and walked into the office.
“The studio has taken on several small projects these days, and the work of the employees is quite fulfilling. But
what are your priorities right now? Can’t I keep running the studio? That’s inappropriate.”
Linda was flattered but worried about her ability.
“Why is it inappropriate? You are my friend. Besides, I still have ideas to promote you to a partner so we can work
together.”
“A partner?”
Hearing the word, Linda froze in place.
She couldn’t believe that she would gain such trust from Amelie.
“Elena! Is this really possible? My economic strength is not strong, and my work ability is not high. I’m afraid I will
disappoint you.”
Linda said worriedly.
Although she really wanted such an opportunity, she couldn’t be selfish and harm the studio.
“What are you thinking about? Only you can help me now. I have other things to deal with, so I have no time to care
about affairs in the studio. I don’t know what to do now if it weren’t for you. I trust you, and you can do very well.”
Amelie knew Linda well, knowing the reason for her hesitation.
“Do you really trust me?”
Linda was entangled and still a little scared, worried she would not do well or make some mistakes.
After all, she was not young anymore and didn’t know if she could balance her family and career.
“Linda, you are so capable, but are you willing to be a small designer all the time? Besides, my career is much
bigger than just training a designer.”
Amelie smiled meaningfully.
Only then did Linda make up her mind.
“If someone could support me, it was a chance God gave me. I must grasp it this time.” Linda thought.
