Claire, do you think I can’t find you after you run away?
Leo looks cold. He shakes the glass of red wine in his hand and drinks it up. He gets up and says to
Luke, “let’s get to work!”

After the last time Conan forced Claire, he threatens to call Leo if she doesn’t go to work as long as he
is free. He wants her to work for Leo’s company and make up with Leo.

live in your godfather’s house and spend his money. I don’t want to make up with your daddy! Forget
it!”

Daddy’s company.”
Is Claire really going to work for Leo’s company?

about his daddy and he keeps urging Claire to go to Leo’s company.
Now Claire seems to have been convinced by Conan. He is angry. He manages to get Claire back.

It seems that he has to find a chance to educate Conan. Juan is upset, but he calmly stops Claire.
“Don’t listen to Conan. You can stay at home. If you feel bored, you can go out and play more with
Conan.”
“No,” Claire frowns and refuses, “I have to go out to work. I am very young. I’m healthy and have hands
and feet. How can I stay at home all day? I have to go out to work. Don’t stop me.”
More importantly, she doesn’t want to stay at home and listen to Conan!
When they were in France, Juan also stopped Claire from going out to find a job. At last he chose to
compromise. Claire is a stubborn woman. If you let her stay at home, it’s better to kill her directly.
Juan understands Claire’s nature. If they are in France, he can agree with Claire. But they are in
America. What if she comes back to Leo again?
Claire is determined. Juan asks her tentatively. “Where do you go to work?”
“The original place, of course. It’s a waste of time to find another job. I have to readjust...” Claire says
and glances at Conan. She secretly winks at Juan and beckons him to cooperate with her.
Juan is a little angry that Claire is going back to Leo’s company. When he sees her blink, he
understands immediately. She wants him to cooperate with her.

opinion.”

the way. I’ll wait for you at home. Don’t forget to tell me about Daddy. Love you!”
“Don’t worry. I’ll take her to the company. You stay at home. Don’t run around, you know?” Juan squats
down and says to Conan.
Conan nods and smiles happily.
Seeing this, Claire and Juan are relieved to go out.
In the car, Juan calmly asks Claire, “do you really want to go to Leo’s company?”
His tone is bland but he is testing Claire.
Claire relaxes and leans back. She says happily, “how can I do this? I managed to leave him. I’m not
going back! I can’t stand Conan’s nagging. I have to lie to him that I am going to work for Leo’s
company.”
Juan chuckles. He looks at Claire in the rearview mirror and asks, “now that you’ve lied to Conan, what
are you going to do in a moment? Where are you going?”
Claire ponders for a moment. She thought about it last night. She says seriously to Juan, “of course I
have to find a job. I want to do my previous work. I said I can’t spend your money. Anyway, I want to
make some pocket money.”
“Do you want to do advertising design?” Juan asks in disbelief.
