"Reene, it's me," Kingsley replied softly as he switched on the living room lamp.

Reene got up from the couch. "Kingsley, you must be starving. I'll make you dinner."

"How is she doing over there?? I've been a bit busy lately and have yet to contact her."
"Ah, don't worry." Kingsley smiled and elaborated, "I've hired some people to protect her in Diosna City.

The people that Kingsley referred to were Heston and Leoric—one from the underworld, and the other
from law enforcement. Of course, having those two people protecting Courtney put him at ease.
Reene smiled tenderly. "That's good…"
