Peter was stunned, and looked sideways at Katherine and said, “What's the matter, are you jealous?”

seemed to be nothing wrong with it.
Katherine didn’t know if he heard what she just said.
She calmly turned back to looked at Peter, “Well, since you got your business, excuse me then.”
Without waiting for Peter to say anything, she turned around and strutted towards the hotel.
And she didn’t look sideways at Marshall as she passed by.
Marshall was standing over there alone, and the woman who was with him before was nowhere to be
found.
When the two people passed each other, Marshall turned his head and looked at Katherine.
The light on the side of the hotel was bright enough to allow Marshall to see Katherine’s slightly pale
face. She had light makeup, which made her look clean. With her hair blown by the wind breeze, her
looked weak.
In fact, Marshall never saw Katherine like this. He did not spend much time with Katherine in the past,
and most of the time, she was quiet, obedient and even a little ingratiating to him. He didn't really like
Katherine in that way.
Marshall withdrew his gaze and went over towards Peter.
