Corbin’s words seemed to pierce through Eliana’s heart as she stood there in silence.

She could not help but feel sorry when he thought of the thick gauze around Preston’s waist.

Maurice signed the document and handed it to Corbin without saying a word.
Then he stood up and walked towards her.
