Because she had been injected with anesthetic several times in a short period of time, her head was dizzy and her mind was blank.
Shi Qian raised her hand and rubbed her temples. After a while, her memories slowly returned.
Was she taken out of Country F by Arthur?
Shi Qian immediately got out of bed and walked towards the balcony. The sea in front of her was even wider. It was the sea in all directions, and she had no way of knowing where she was.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. Shi Qian immediately turned around.
Arthur walked in wearing a white shirt, beach shorts, and sunglasses.
Seeing Shi Qian standing on the balcony, the corners of his lips curled up into a sexy smile.
“You’re awake? Do you feel a little stiff? You’ll feel better if you take a swim in the swimming pool on the top floor of the cruise ship,” Arthur suggested.
“Where am I? How long have I been unconscious?”
“I can’t tell you exactly where we are, but our voyage is still over twenty hours away.”
Shi Qian glanced at the vast sea again and suddenly felt dizzy. Then, she squatted on the ground and retched.
Arthur immediately walked forward and helped Shi Qian up.
Shi Qian pushed him away and propped herself up to walk into the room.
After not eating for a long time and being on the ship, Shi Qian felt terrible. She collapsed on the sofa and curled up into a ball.
“Shi Qian, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?” Arthur immediately took off his sunglasses and came to Shi Qian.
Shi Qian was so uncomfortable that she couldn’t even speak.
Arthur poured a glass of water for Shi Qian. “Drink some water first.”
Shi Qian took the water and took a sip, but as soon as the water entered her stomach, she spat it all out.
Arthur had wanted to get her a trash can, but he hadn’t had time.
Seeing Shi Qian’s discomfort, Arthur couldn’t help but raise his hand to pat her back.
Shi Qian felt her stomach lurch. Arthur was so close to her that she could barely see his face.
“Shi Qian!” Arthur called out, a hint of worry in his tone.
Shi Qian leaned against the sofa and was about to faint.
“Men!” Arthur immediately shouted outside.
Immediately, someone walked in. “Boss.”
“Bring Dr. Andy here.”
A few minutes later, a thin and tall young man walked in with a medicine box and did some routine checks on Shi Qian.
“What’s going on?”
“Boss, she just hadn’t eaten for too long and suddenly woke up. Her body couldn’t adapt and she’s having a low blood sugar reaction. Moreover, the seasickness worsened her condition.”
“How can we alleviate her symptoms?” Arthur immediately asked.
“I’ll mix some glucose first to improve her low blood sugar. Then, I’ll let her try to eat some food and rest. Her symptoms will slowly ease.”
With that, Andy immediately mixed a cup of glucose water and prepared to feed it to Shi Qian.
“I’ll do it.” Arthur snatched the glass of water and sat on the sofa, supporting Shi Qian’s body.
“Shi Qian, drink this glass of water. You’ll feel much better after drinking it.”
Andy stared at the scene in a daze. He had never seen such a side to the boss.
He would actually take care of a woman so carefully.
Shi Qian’s consciousness was a little blurry. She suddenly reached out and wrapped her arms around Arthur’s neck.
“Sinian, I feel terrible.” She was like a kitten, delicate, weak, and pitiful.
Arthur felt the wetness in his arms and a strange feeling suddenly arose in his heart..
