Gus started narrating a story that happened to him five years ago, and why he was so sure that there's a tribe of Ice Troll on that mountain that he had pointed at.
"You...you're telling me that you discovered a tribe of Ice Trolls in that mountain, and not only that, they were the ones that saved you back then when you got lost that day, and they can even talk!?" Carter looked at Gus in shock!
It was because he can't believe what he had just heard!
Ice Trolls that talks, have their own village, and even knows how to produce their own food by farming, like humans, do!
Even Michael and the others didn't know what to say after hearing Gus's story. After all, every Ice Troll they had met so far had acted like savages and doesn't even know how to talk or hold a proper conversation.
Michael rubbed his temples and said, "If what you had said was true, then why does it look like Carter is hearing this for the first time?"
Gus suddenly looked embarrassed for a second, and then he opened his mouth and said, "I told what I encountered and saw to Lady Sonya first when I managed to get back to the village in one piece, but she told me not to tell another soul after hearing of what happened to me"
"So you've kept this secret all to yourself for that long?" Carter raised an eyebrow, and he sounded angry.
After all, what Gus had discovered that day is a piece of crucial information that could have determined their village's survival!
They aren't worried even if a group of Ice Trolls would attack their village because the walls were enchanted by Sonya, but it would have certainly been a different story if a group of intelligent Ice Trolls would attack their village.
Michael and the others also had their own thoughts on what Gus told them.
Michael thought the village would have been doomed if those Ice Trolls had used Gus to track down their village, and even if they wouldn't be able to breach the village, then they could've waited outside the village and force the villagers into a corner by starving them.
After all, not until Michael had arrived here, the village had relied on hunting to sustain their livelihood.
And when he imagined that could have really happened back then made Michael shake his head.
Michael didn't ask him any more questions and he just jumped down from on top of the wall and landed softly on the ground, followed by Dylan who decided to stay here at the village in the last minute when some of his fellow guild members left, then Solitary Tempest, Storm Moonlight and Chakram followed suit.
"You heard him, what's your plan?" Storm Moonlight asked the moment they entered Sonya's cabin.
Michael didn't answer immediately but looked at the people around him for a few seconds.
"We leave for tonight, right now is the best chance for us to get past the security of the Grey Orcs now that most of their people have gone to war"
"And hopefully nothing goes wrong when we pass through their land"
Michael turned his back towards them and mumbled to himself.
Meanwhile.
"General, are we still not gonna attack them?"
A knight covered in plates of silver armor with a sword on his back walked towards a man who is also covered with the same armor, but he has a red cape fluttering behind him, and a heated shaped shield on his left hand and a sword hanging on the side of his waist.
And above the man's head is a word that reads…
Layfun.
Layfun, a general of the War Dragons Guild First Brigade, which is a three thousand men strong, both NPCs, and players mixed together!
Looking at the enemy camp in the distance, Layfun lazily answered, "No, Tiera hasn't given the go signal yet"
The edge of the player's lips called Moonlight who asked Layfun earlier twitched because of how casually the latter addressed their guild leader.
But at the same time, he could also understand why. After all, the man standing before him is the guild leader's brother and most importantly, the other half of the titled Twin Towers!
Twin Towers, is what the gaming community refers to the two players called Layfun and the Guild Leader of War Dragons Guild, Tiera!
They were called the Twin Towers because the two of them are pillars of the War Dragons Guild, and at the same time, both players are able to cover each other's weaknesses!
Putting Solitary Tempest aside, Layfun could be considered as the best player out there!
It's not that he could beat Solitary Tempest in a one on one match, but he is certainly the better commander between them!
Of course, the title of the strongest player would change...soon.
Layfun also has another title that gamers refer to him, which is [Raging Commander] because he is the best in leading armies, but he's only recognized for this because he is one of the best players for offensive battles, like sieging a city or open battles in the plains.
While his sister Tiera, on the other hand, is recognized as the brains behind the War Dragons Guild, she might not be as skilled as her brother and her fellow guild leaders of the nine major guilds.
But her management and strategic skills are one of the best out there, as she had raised the guild as one the best guilds out there from when they were just a small studio with the support of her brother and its founding members.
But those skills weren't why they were called the Twin Towers, as mentioned before, if Layfun is great at offensive warfare, then his sister on the other hand is the greatest in defensive warfare out there!
Yes, not just great, but the greatest!
Earning her the title, The Great Wall!
