Chapter 320 Home
The plane safely landed.
The ground was full of police cars, ambulance, firetrucks, and a lot of police officers, paramedics along with a group of firemen.
They quickly surrounded the plane that Michael and others are.
There are also reporters who are already waiting for them at the side, eager to be first to get this breaking news!
Michael got down from the plane through the evacuation slide and followed the rest of the evacuated passengers. He had already told the crew and passengers who had witnessed what he did back on the plane that they shouldn't mention him, and just tell the officials that the one who had saved them was Chris.
Chris was the one who had helped Michael take down the hijackers. He's on a vacation from the military and was on their way to visit their relatives in another city with his grandmother when the hijacking happened.
"I...thank you"
The flight attendant that Micheal had saved before approached him and whispered. He just gave her a smile and nodded, then he looked at the people who were looking at him with complicated eyes, then his eyes landed on Chris who was surrounded by a couple of news reporters as the police officers tried to pull them away from the man.
Chris's eyes met Michael's, his pair of eyes became serious, along with a tinge of confusion, but in the end, he just nodded back at him as he quickly remembered what Michael had told them just before the plane landed.
Ten minutes earlier.
"If they ask, just make sure to tell them that it was all done by Chris, and not me alright? I don't want anyone bothering me because of it"
"Why don't you want to be known? You'll get fame for it, the company might even award you with a monetary reward. Heck, I wouldn't even doubt the city mayor would acknowledge your bravery for this"
"No, I just don't need fame. It's a burden, not like I'm a celebrity or something. I just don't want my peaceful life to be disturbed, so I kindly ask everyone to never mention what I did here"
Michael smiled at them, the flight attendant earlier and Chris constantly tried to change his mind. After all, what he did here was a good deed, but they can't just understand why he didn't want to be known, as anyone in their right minds would surely want to be recognized after what he had done.
But in the end, all of them relented as they also respect his wishes as after all, they can't deny the fact that he had saved them as they wouldn't even know what will happen to them if the hijackers were successful.
Even Chris admitted that he alone wouldn't be able to take down the hijackers without Michael.
"This is my business card, if you ever need anything, just contact me"
"Me too, if you need any help, just call me young lad"
"This is my card, if you want to eat some good food, then I'll personally cook for you at my restaurant"
One by one, some businessmen among them gave Michael their business cards as thanks, and at the same time, they also thought that it would great to create a connection with this young man before them. After all, who can predict that they wouldn't need someone of Michael's skills in the future?
They also gave their cards to Chris, as the young man surprising holds the rank of a Major in the army.
Michael smiled at that and took a seat. Some of the passengers are all wide awake, but some of them are still shaking from fear, especially those younger than Michael as they probably hadn't expected that death wasn't that far away today.
Michael looked at the business card in his hands.
'One is someone who owns a large hospital in the country. Ohh, this one called Troy is a chef who owns a Three-star Michelin restaurant. So that's why he said I should contact him if I want to have some good food'
'Pretty interesting, I should bring Amanda with me and have a taste of his cooking, and at the same time, it can also be considered a date. Maybe I can even ask Dylan and Allison, and we can have a double date'
'Well then, I just hope none of these people breaks their promise and tell the whole world about me. That would such a huge trouble that I won't know how to answer it to my parents. But it's not like I don't have a notorious name in the underground world of Central City already for beating the crap out of a lot of Black Skull members'
Michael can only smile and hope for the best as he started putting the seatbelt on as the plane has started its descent.
Almost two hours later.
"Finally home"
"You're really fine, right?"
Michael had safely gotten home and thankfully, the other passengers kept their promise, so no one bothered him at the airport, but he also knows that the media would sooner or later learn about his involvement in the hijacking as there's surely one or two blabbermouths among the passengers who had witnessed what happened today and certainly wouldn't be able to keep their mouths shut.
But he had also faced a problem called Amanda. She came to pick him up at the airport along with Dylan and his sister, and she had been constantly asking him if he was really okay after she had learned about the hijacking incident.
"I'm fine Amanda, you have already asked me that same question ten times already"
"Hey! I'm just worried! I know that you're really good at fighting, but you can't deprive my concern of worrying about it!"
Michael just smiled at her and started walking towards her.
"What are you doing?"
"This…"
"Uh hmmm…"
Michael gently pushed her on the wall and pressed his lips against Amanda as the atmosphere quickly turned naughty as both of them started french kissing each other.
"Uhmm...you're such...a bad….guy"
"I just missed you...babe"
Bang!
Michael carried her to his bedroom while kissing and slammed the door shut with his foot.
Pieces of clothes were slowly thrown away on the ground, and the sound of satisfied moans, the sound of flesh hitting against each other and the creaking of the bed echoed throughout the apartment soon after.
