Though she turned him down the first time, he figured that the same thing wouldn’t happen again.

always bullied.”
Jaydon looked at Zayden and could not help but ask, “So, why do you want me to get on with her in the
first place?”

Jaydon did not say anything. Zayden continued, “I’m not saying that you must pursue her. I’m just
asking you to be on good terms with her. Don’t turn her hostile.”
“I see.” Jaydon nodded.
By the time Elaina made ward rounds and came to Zayden’s ward, Zayden and Jaydon had already
finished their conversation. Zayden looked at Elaina kindly. “Ella, with those great medical skills of
yours, staying in New York would be such a waste of your talent. Have you considered going to
Boston?”
“Mr. Becker, thanks. That’s very kind of you. But I think New York is great. I have no intention of leaving
for the moment,” she replied.
Zayden became a bit disappointed when hearing her words. Yet he didn’t insist. “Alright. If you ever
change your mind, just tell Jaydon. He will make arrangements for you. I promise you won’t regret it.”
