Later, there was even more news about the year’s first Monster Trainer College Entrance Examination. It was to be held in tandem with the Monster Trainer League and the New World Allied Government.

The Monster Trainer League would be the ones to introduce the classification criteria of the familiars. They would officially divide the familiars into four categories: ordinary tier, elite tier, commander tier, and lord tier.

They decided not to announce the classification for familiars above lord tier since none had been discovered thus far.

Although there had been classifications before, this new classification could be used for getting certificates. It allowed different levels of familiars to get the appropriate certificates. Those that were granted commander tier and above would be able to get subsidies every year, and priority when entering all sorts of competitions.

At the same time, the Monster Trainer League announced that the organization would stay neutral. They would not interfere with any of the internal factional infighting of the New World Allied Government. It was a force that served all monster trainers around the world.

It was not certain for how long they prepared to set up the Monster Trainer League. It was established overnight, branches sprouting up like mushrooms after a rain in all parts of the world.

The next day, Gao Peng took Dumby to the training ground.

Out of habit, Silly fell on Gao Peng’s head. Gao Peng passively resisted two times, then became too lazy to care.

He gave a long sigh. “Why do you like to fall on top of my head? Why not go on top of Dumby’s head?”

“Cold, cold,” Silly said.

Gao Peng had grown numb to this. He secretly vowed that he would change Silly’s color in his next evolution.

He would rather it be pink than green!

Mu Tieying saw that Gao Peng had brought Dumby, and her heart felt at ease. Mu Tieying had a strange confidence in Dumby. It seemed that Dumby’s last performance had left a deep impression on her, as every time Dumby was sent out she felt a deep appreciation.

Many people tried to challenge the Skull-winged Blue Bat, perhaps due to what General Instructor Chen said the day prior, but all of them failed. The number of people who went and challenged the Skull-winged Blue Bat became fewer and fewer, as they seemed to realize the power of this monster. It wasn’t something that could be challenged successfully because of a sudden impulse.

Some of the students even gave up watching, as all of the challengers were just abused by the bat.

“I want to challenge it,” Gao Peng’s voice suddenly rang out. Gao Peng stepped out, followed by Dumby who was covered by a black gown.

Chief Instructor Chen looked at Gao Peng and looked at Dumby. He saw that Dumby was taller than Gao Peng, nodded slowly and said, “Good luck.”

“It’s him.” the youth with a crew cut recognized Gao Peng and Dumby, who was behind Gao Peng. He had a complicated look on his face. He looked somewhat annoyed, somewhat resentful. He didn’t realize it, but he also felt some sort of reverence.

The red jacketed youth wore black striped sportswear today. The Black Raging Kong behind him seemed to recognize Dumby. It took two steps back in reverence and stood behind its master. “Do you think he will succeed?” the youth mumbled to himself. Perhaps he would witness a miracle today.

More than a thousand monster trainers were present, and none of them were able to defeat the Skull-winged Blue Bat in a one-on-one duel. Although the reason for this may have been because the Skull-winged Blue Bat did not fight in a head-on fight, a loss was still a loss.

Dumby bent over and walked into the cage. He looked up at the Skull-winged Blue Bat on the top of the cage.

The Skull-winged Blue Bat, which had been pretending to close its eyes, suddenly felt a cool feeling all the way from the tip of its tail to its scalp.

It opened its eyes and looked at Dumby, who was at the bottom.

The Skull-winged Blue Bat screeched twice.

Dumby swayed its neck, screamed loudly, and gently twirled its arm. All the bones in its body made a cracking sound. All of its veins somehow growled.

The Blood-Thread Heart that was used up in the valley had been restored. It took half a month, with the help of a large amount of energy.

This was not an ability that could be used frequently in the short term.

What made the Skull-winged Blue Bat curious was that the fellow at the bottom gave off a feeling of danger. This was a feeling that not a lot of monsters had experienced before.

Dumby slowly took off the black gown. When the gown was completely off its body, people gasped and screamed outside of the cage.

It was a ghoul type monster! Fine red filaments traveled through its body. They looked like fierce blood vessels.

This was why Gao Peng rarely let Dumby show its real body. Ghoul types were rare in Chang’an City. If Dumby showed its body, it would be extremely eye-catching.

Dumby had blue flames where its eyes should have been. The blood in its chest was beating wildly, like a motor engine at a high RPM. The speed of the beats was getting faster and faster and moving closer together as well.

Dumby stepped back, then rushed forward in two steps, smashing directly into the wire wall. Its amazing strength bent the wires out of shape. It put its hands into the holes and used the mesh as stepping stones to go up quickly, feet at a time, like a gust of wind.

Dumby squatted, hanging at the edge of the cage. It leaped forward by pushing his legs against the wire wall and opening its palms. It was as if a cattail leaf fan was rushing towards the Skull-winged Blue Bat.

Even if the Skull-winged Blue Bat were slow in its reaction, it would still be able to react in time. Dumby made too big of a movement.

It expanded its wings and avoided Dumby’s attack. Dumby fell from a height of 165 feet.

The earth trembled as Dumby made a dent in the concrete floor. Cracks in the form of spiral patterns appeared.

The wire cage swayed and trembled for a long time.

Although its attack did not hit the enemy, Dumby shocked everyone.

It was so cool! Pure glorious violence. The red jacketed youth turned around to look at his Black Raging Kong, which panicked and shook his head, as if saying, “I won’t be able to learn it! I won’t be able to learn it!”

The Skull-winged Blue Bat was flying mid-air. It opened its mouth and released a sound wave. Because of the glass soundproofing, the students outside couldn’t hear it, but the harsh sound waves echoed in the cage. It passed through Dumby’s body…

Dumby looked at the Skull-winged Blue Bat and slowly retreated. It then used two or three steps to climb up the cage, and again kicked off the wall to leap towards the Skull-winged Blue Bat.

This kind of move could only be used in a specially controlled environment.

In other places, the Skull-winged Blue Bat would have long escaped. Unfortunately, it couldn’t escape in the sealed environment. All had to live according to the environment that they were given. The Skull-winged Blue Bat made a small mistake, and received a rough slap from Dumby.

It bounced on the sides of the cage like a rubber ball and fell softly to the ground. It struggled to fly, but Dumby wouldn’t let it escape after putting in so much effort; instead Dumby rushed forward and went berserk.

The Skull-winged Blue Bat’s wings were fractured, its eyes were bruised, and its jaw was dislocated. It was beaten so badly that blood came out of its nose.
