Chapter 210: Three Seconds

“Mr. Ji destroyed a Mountain Spirit an hour ago with a sudden powerful thunder strike. He gave a clear indication on where us humans stand. We’re willing to hold discussions, and we are willing to negotiate, but we will not yield! This is our bottom line. Mr. Ji acted as the human’s representative when he delivered this punch to the Mountain Spirits!” said a senior military official sitting at a military conference table.

“It’s definitely because Mr. Ji couldn’t stand the attitude of the Mountain Spirits, so he stepped forward to help us.”

“Mr. Ji undoubtedly cares about all of us.”

“If those Mountain Spirits remain stubborn, we’ll continue to show them what we have!”

The Mountain Spirits were able to feel the destruction of one of their own. They became visibly agitated and also very emotional.

A small number of Mountain Spirits wanted to avenge their fallen compatriots, but most of them felt scared.

When they had gained consciousness and became sentient, they had realized they possessed great strength. They could destroy the lives of everything that lived near them. As time went on, they became more and more arrogant.

They even thought that they were all powerful, since they were the lords of the mountains.

However, they had suddenly received the news that one of their compatriots had fallen.

These Mountain Spirits started to panic and felt uneasy. They weren’t invincible, after all.

This had given Yuzhou City the upper hand in the upcoming negotiations.

Although Stripey had lied before, Gao Peng still regarded him as someone who kept to his word.

Since Gao Peng had promised Stripey that he could go make little spiders, he wouldn’t go back on his word.

“Let’s go. I’ll bring you there today,” Gao Peng said when he woke Stripey up. He brought Stripey to school with him.

Right after he started walking, a bunch of familiars rushed towards them…

“What are you guys here for?” Gao Peng was speechless.

The response he received from the familiars were their continual stares. None of them spoke, although their eyes were sparkling.

Gao Peng didn’t know how to react. “Whatever floats your boat..”

Two hours later, Gao Peng arrived at the place where he and the ponytailed girl had agreed to meet. He looked at the warehouse and sighed. “We’re just going to have two familiars mate so they can reproduce. Why did we need to meet in such a secluded place, as if we were doing something bad?”

“Ahem.” The ponytailed girl turned around in embarrassment. “Don’t think too much of it. I just think that this sort of thing… should be done in a secluded place.”

“Whatever floats your boat.” Gao Peng felt helpless.

Half a minute later, Stripey’s entire body grew stiff. He nervously looked at the heads peeking out from the surrounding walls. “Can… can you guys not watch? Especially you, Goldie!!”

One yard in front of Stripey, a yellow duck was squatting on the ground. It leaned forward, stretched its neck, and stared at Stripey.

“What are you planning on doing, sitting so close?! Also, didn’t you go bald? Why have your feathers grown back??” Stripey was going crazy.

Stripey stretched out one of his feet and kicked forward. A yellow feather coat dropped from Goldie’s body, revealing its bare skin.

“Quack!” Goldie let out a shout. It turned around and ran away while wiggling its bum.

Da Zi disdainfully said, “Hurry up. It’s something that only takes three seconds.”

“Three seconds?!” Silly stared at Stripey, its eyes full of curiosity.

“It doesn’t take me only three seconds!” All of Stripey’s hairs stood up.

In the end, none of the familiars got to see what they wanted to see, because Stripey had spun a large number of white spider webs around him. It was impossible to see what was happening from the outside.

“Bah!” Flamy fiercely spat out some spit.

“Useless spider!”

“Coward!”

The rest of the familiars spat in disdain and left.

The spider web started to disappear after half an hour, when Stripey crawled out. On his back was a white female spider. The female spider’s blue eyes had turned red. She was biting down on Stripey’s back shell.

“This is…” Gao Peng squinted his eyes.

When Flamy saw what was happening, it retracted its neck.

Gao Peng knew that in the animal world, it was very likely that a female spider would eat the male spider after they mated. If there wasn’t enough food around, the male spider would act as nutrients for the female spider.

Gao Peng thought this female spider was evolved and educated. He’d had no idea it would act in such an uncivilized manner.

Gao Peng shook his head in disappointment. He was unsure if this had been done intentionally or unintentionally by the ponytailed girl, or whether she even knew her familiar would do this, but he was, nevertheless, very unhappy that her familiar was doing this.

The white female spider on Stripey’s back had blood in her mouth. Stripey’s shell was much harder than she expected, so she had lost quite a few of her teeth when she bit Stripey. Blood was pouring out of her mouth. Stripey started to feel annoyed at the female spider. He flipped over suddenly and threw the female spider off his back.

Stripey’s enormous body was pushing on the female spider, rendering her completely immobile. Hiss!!! Stripey hissed angrily, his anger pouring out like a flood. The female spider pinned under Stripey was completely stiff. The red color in her eyes had disappeared. Instead, her fearful eyes looked at Stripey, and her mouth was begging for mercy from him.

“Ahh! What is your familiar doing?” the ponytailed girl screamed when she saw what was happening. She looked at Stripey in a way that made it seem like she was the one who had been wronged.

Gao Peng frowned and waved towards Stripey. “That’s enough, Stripey. Let’s go.”

After he gave the female spider a threat, Stripey slowly got up and strutted out.

“This is the Royal Mountain Wolf Bird Army we trained. They have met our required standards,” a man in a white coat and glasses said respectfully to Ji Hanwu while they were in a wide open field.

In the field, there was a gold and black carpet that was wiggling slowly. There was a huge sealed metal box next to it.

If one were to give the carpet a closer look, they would see that it was made up of golden feathered sparrows that were half the height of an adult man.

The giant sparrows had black patches around their eyelids, and they also had a lot of black feathers on their wings.

“Caw! Caw—” a clear sounding cry rang out from the Royal Mountain Wolf Bird.

Among them was a Royal Mountain Wolf Bird that was taller than the others by a couple feet and much bigger. It flew apart from the group and landed obediently in front of a youth in a black shirt.

This Royal Mountain Wolf Bird was not only much bigger than the other Royal Mountain Wolf Bird, but it also had a crown like growth on its head.

Ji Hanwu looked at the researcher and said, “Let’s test their combat effectiveness.”

The researcher nodded, a look of fanaticism in his eyes. “Chairman Ji, the power of these Royal Mountain Wolf Bird is absolutely beyond imagination. I really want to meet the man who created the Royal Drug…”

As he spoke, he told his assistant to open the cage.

The sealed metal box opened slowly, and a roar came out. Then a ten-foot-tall and twenty-foot-long giant wild boar ran out. The wild boar’s fang protruded from its upper lip. Its ferocious looking fangs were in a spiral pattern.

The ground trembled every time it took a step.

This was a Commander tier swine type monster. Under normal circumstances, Mountain Wolf Birds would never attack a monster of this level. The only way they would ever do something like this was if they outnumbered it at a ratio of at least 10,000 to one and were starving.

A single bird cried out, and countless Royal Mountain Wolf Birds flew into the air. The air was filled with the sounds of “Caw! Caw! Caw!”

A Royal Mountain Wolf Bird let out a cry and flapped its wings wildly, morphing into a black shadow, then rushing towards the Commander tier wild boar.

It was like a signal. A group of densely packed Royal Mountain Wolf Birds flew towards the Commander tier wild boar, surrounding it.

The boar’s pitiful cries could be heard, as well as the sound of it being torn apart.

Ten minutes later, the Royal Mountain Wolf Birds fluttered away. All that was left was blood and bones that still had some flesh hanging off of them.

“This isn’t even their limit. If these Royal Mountain Wolf Birds continue to take the Royal Drugs, their strength will continue to advance further…” the researcher exclaimed in admiration. “Who was the person who invented this drug? He’s a genius!”
