Chapter 2749Chapter 2749 Alchemist Fair

“Ms. Warwick fed you all of Emerald Cauldron Sect's high-level pills while you were unconscious, Mr.

Chance. You only woke up after consuming the three precious pills from the medicinal treasury too,”

Ghaylen explained.

The three pills?

Jared tried his best to recall what happened. Although he was technically unconscious, he could still

feel the changes that took place in his body.

There were three types of auras intensifying within my body. Could that have anything to do with the

three pills?

“What were those pills, Mr. Samoll?” Jared asked.

“I'm not too sure. Those three pills have been there for a really long time. We've researched them for

many years but never managed to identify their properties. Now that Emerald Cauldron Sect can no

longer produce even a decent pill, I'm not sure how we'll participate in the upcoming Alchemist Fair...”

Ghaylen replied with a helpless sigh.

Jared froze. “Alchemist Fair? What's that?”

Viola quickly stepped forward and stopped Ghaylen by saying, “That's enough, Ghaylen. All that

matters is that Jared has regained consciousness.”

Ghaylen quickly shut his mouth and said nothing more.

Turning toward Viola, Jared said, “Thank you very much for saving me, Ms. Warwick. You even used

up so much of Emerald Cauldron Sect's resources in the process. Please let me know if you guys haverun into any trouble. I'm technically a member of Emerald Cauldron Sect too, so there's no reason for

you to keep secrets from me.”

“I just don't want you to get worried, that's all. As for the Alchemist Fair, we'll just sit it out this time!”

Viola stated with a faint smile.

Upon hearing that, Ghaylen wanted to say something in response but held his tongue in the end.

Of course, Jared had noticed the change in Ghaylen's expression as well, but he knew Ghaylen

wouldn't dare tell him the truth in front of Viola.

“I'd like to get some fresh air after being unconscious for so long,” Jared said.

“I'll go with you, Mr. Chance!” Ghaylen instantly offered.

“Don't go spouting nonsense, Ghaylen! Do you hear me?” Viola reminded him.

Ghaylen nodded and headed out with Jared.

“What is that Alchemist Fair that you were talking about, Mr. Samoll?” Jared asked as soon as they

stepped out the door.

Ghaylen cautiously glanced at Viola to make sure she wasn't following behind them before answering

softly, “Jipsdale, which is about two thousand kilometers away from here, hosts an Alchemist Fair once

every year. As you know, being an alchemist is a highly respected career in this country. Although

Emerald Cauldron Sect is the only sect that focuses on alchemy in this area, there are dozens of sects

in the Southwest Region that practice alchemy. Every year, these sects will gather in Jipsdale and

compare their alchemy skills. They will also put their best pills on display to showcase their alchemy

skills and possibly trade the pills for some resources. The head of the Alchemist Fair will also gift the

champion of the competition a ton of resources as a reward. Now, all of Emerald Cauldron Sect's high-level pills have been used up, and we don't even have many resources left, so I'm afraid we won't be

able to participate in the upcoming Alchemist Fair.”

When Ghaylen was finished speaking, he let out a helpless sigh.

“Don't worry, Mr. Samoll. I can participate in the Alchemist Fair this year. I won't let Emerald Cauldron

Sect down!” Jared said. It was only fair and logical that he involves himself in this matter. After all,

those pills were all given to him.

Ghaylen broke into a smile when he heard that. He was well aware of Jared's outstanding alchemy

skills and knew the younger man possessed the Divine Cauldron, which was a legendary item when it

came to alchemy.
