Chapter 2789Chapter 2789 Originator

“Since you're alone, Mr. Stark, we should walk together! That way, we'll be able to look out for each

other!” Ghaylen said when he saw that Gregory was all by himself.

He figured things would be easier at the Alchemist Fair if he got on the judge's good side.

“I was going to suggest the very same thing!” Gregory replied with a nod.

He actually wanted to understand Jared more and find out how an alchemist could become so

powerful.

The group started making their way toward Jipsdale together.

“What is your Alchemy Level, young man?” Gregory asked Jared along the way.

Jared frowned in confusion when he heard that. “Alchemy Level?”

He had no idea that alchemy had levels because no one had told him about it.

“Mr. Chance has yet to take the test with us, so we don't know his Alchemy Level yet,” Ghaylen said.

Gregory nodded. “Oh, I see. Based on what I've seen, your Alchemy Level should be fairly high. I'd say

it's at least Third Level Middle Tier!”

Through chatting with Gregory, Jared was able to figure out that alchemists in Ethereal Realm were

categorized into nine Levels, and each Level was further separated into three tiers—Top, Middle, and

Low.The higher an alchemist's Level, the higher the grade of the pills they could synthesize. However, pill

synthesis was not fully dependent on an alchemist's Level. It also depended on the medicinal herbs,

cauldron, and flame used.

It would be possible for an alchemist to synthesize amazing pills simply by having a great cauldron and

mystical herbs.

Through chatting with Gregory, Jared also learned a lot about the history of the alchemists in Ethereal

Realm.

Solaris Sect was a lot more powerful than Emerald Cauldron Sect.

After all, there was no way an elder of Solaris Sect would have become a judge. It would seem that the

people of this area approved of Solaris Sect's alchemy skills.

The sky grew dark before they knew it, and a huge city came into view in the distance.

“We've arrived in Jipsdale. Honestly, seeing it never fails to take my breath away!” Ghaylen exclaimed

while looking at the gigantic city ahead.

Yuven, too, gasped in awe. “It's magnificent! Looks like the beast race will never surpass the human

race when it comes to construction!”

Although Imperial Beast City was huge and magnificent as well, it paled in comparison to Jipsdale.

If Yuven's Imperial Beast City was described as a bungalow, then Jipsdale could be described as a

huge mansion.

“Mr. Chance, private combat is prohibited within Jipsdale, so please be careful when handling personal

conflicts. You may take the fight to the arena if necessary. There are plenty of arenas everywhere inJipsdale, so you can have a sanctioned fight pretty much anytime,” Ghaylen reminded.

Jared nodded, and the group made their way into Jipsdale.

A statue could be seen in the middle of the compound outside the city gate.

It was a statue of an elderly man sniffing at something that resembled a reishi mushroom.

Ghaylen whispered into Jared's ear, “Mr. Chance, this is a statue of Zavian Gabbard, the originator of

alchemy. We call him Lord Alchemy.”

Jared was a little surprised to see such a statue in the middle of a compound.

If Lord Alchemy is the originator of alchemy, then shouldn't this statue be placed in alchemical sects

instead? It doesn't make sense to place it here in front of Jipsdale! Could it be that the count of

Jipsdale is an alchemist as well?
