Kendra was seriously focused only on her studies and work after the break up. She was working in the
morning at the Language Center and studying in the afternoon. She went home almost midnight.
Another year had passed for her last semester to end. She had her on job training at the airport where
she started to see a lot of people from different countries. Her eyes were dazzling when she was
looking at the flight attendants passing by on her. One late afternoon at the information center at the
airport where she sat and started to dream to be one of them.
"Que ora es?" one passenger asked her.
"huh, Oh...yeah.." Kendra could not speak spanish at all. Kendra just understood the man's gesture in
front of her as he was pointing his finger at the flight schedule board.
"Tre ora before your flight."Kendra answered. The man smiled at him and left.
"Are you okay Kendra?Sussy had finished her break. She smiled to Kendra and mentioned her that
someone wanted her phone number.
"Yes, I am good but about the phone number?I dont think, it would be a good idea." Kendra smilingly
answered Sussy.
"Why not?Oh, you never told me that you are in relationship right now. How would I know? I thought
you are single." Sussy just could not believed of what Kendra replied on her.
"Relax, Sussy just I am not really ready for another relationship. My mind and heart are seriously
focused on my dreams and goals as of the moment. This will be my last semester and I am going to
have my Graduation next year March then I will be flying like those flight attendants." Kendra excitedly
explaining to Sussy and pointing her finger to those flight attendants.
" Oh my God, You are very ambitious. I am telling you it is not so easy to be a flight attendant. I applied
lots of times but I could not have a job."Sussy smilingly explained her experienced.
"Why did you give up? If it is your true dream, you wont give it up no matter what."Kendra strongly said
her belief to Sussy.
"I am so amazed and impressed of your strong determination. Good Luck Kendra." Sussy laughingly
out loud to Kendra.
"I am amazing Sussy..You will see!" Kendra just head her up high walking out of the station to have her
break time.
While Kendra was not around and had her break time. There was a man one of the passenger went to
Sussy.
"You got her number?" Tommy excitedly asked in front of the face of Sussy.
"Oh you are truly serious to know my colleague, arent you? but my answer is No, I could not get her
number."Sussy smilingly said.
"Why? I wanted her number. Have you ever experienced the first time you saw a person and there is
this amazing feeling that you could not explain where it all came from?Come on, I knew that you
experienced that and you could easily understand me." Tommy still insisted Kendra's phone number to
Sussy.
" Are you in love with her that easy?You must be kidding me. I dont buy it. Maybe you are just feeling
an excitement but not love." Sussy explained to Tommy that she could not get any Kendra's contact
number from her.
"Come on, I am serious on her. What friends are for?We ve been childhood friends. Remember I was
the one to help you about Roger your ex boyfriend to have his unmemorable gift and he liked it so
much and because of that you owed me one."Tommy smilingly explained to Sussy.
"Dah, Tommy it was so long time ago and you could not forget that! anyway, i dont know exactly her
number but you could try this 7885685. It is written on our record. If she answered , then she is meant
for you to know her but if not, sorry just accept that she is not for you. Bye, Tommy and dont come back
again. I dont want to see you infront of my face." Sussy explained to Tommy that was the only thing she
had for him and Tommy left Sussy happily with his very big smile on his face.
