The next morning, the chef came at 6 am. Everyone are still sleeping except Hannah, who is already
writing to her blog and started the novel. Hannah was so excited to write again but this time it's a
romance non fiction not the text book like learning tool, history matters and guide to students in
connection on her mission trips.
She was typing so fast in the patio with coffee on the side table, she did not notice that Ari is standing
in front of her.
Working so hard! Ari bends softly kiss her lips.
You're here…its early for breakfast! Hannah said.
Ari sit beside Hannah. I wanted to see you in the morning, to wake up next to you every day. He caress
her hair and kisses her on the cheek.
Good morning to you too…Hannah teasing Ari.
Hannah stand up to get Ari a freshly brewed coffee. Ari stand up… hold her hand, embraces her and
whisper –I miss you. Tomorrow is the last day, can we have dinner you and me only please. I know
they will understand. Ari continues to whisper to Hannah, kissing her softly on the nape of her neck.
I will let them know….its a special request. They wont mind ….Hannah said, feeling nervous.
Ari and Hannah are seated in love seat on the patio drinking coffee, holding hands, body touching each
other while waiting for their breakfast. Talking, reminiscing the fun work they shared from many years
ago. Their workmates, lunches, coffee's, late-night extended work and exchanges. It was really fun, it
was the one of the best times of their lives.
Our todays schedule is going around the city, check malls and local garments place to buy souvenirs,
dinner, karaoke and beer at night.
Ari and his friends arrive early afternoon to spend more time with the group.
Beer, appetizers, fruits, shakes, karaoke night and some dancing. The group are having so much fun.
Ari requested a song 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran. Chit sang the song being the karaoke king. Ari took
Hannah's hand and they dance in the living room. The group felt the sincerity of Ari's love…..while
Hannah is embarrassed for Ari's display of his love and affection. Is this a dream? If this is one of my
dreams, I don't want to wake up.
Last day in Tarlac.
Hiking day today. On to the hilly slightly mountainous Mt Telakawa, located at Capas, Tarlac. The
mountain has natural resources and forest products. We pass by fruits and vegetables plantation, fire
logs, sand, rocks and forest animals such as wild boar and deer. It is interesting hike, informative and
refreshing.
By the way, Ari ask if we can have dinner, just the two of us tonight.
By all means Hannah, we are all adults here….be careful not to get pregnant. Everyone were laughing.
I read it somewhere that a post-menopausal baby can still be conceived ……..laughter laughter and
laughter.
Hannah is blushing with embarrassment.
By 4pm, Ari pick up Hannah. The group are somewhat happy and concerned. Is this really happening?
Is this the last day of their love story. We are all leaving soon and Ari lives here in Tarlac. Will this story
end tonight or will continue, but how will this continue? This is a long-distance affair, at this age of
retirement. Is this still possible in the now days? The group are all concerned with Hannah's state of
mind after today. Hannah is like a sister to all of them. Ari professes his love, but what is his plan. He is
good looking, divorcee, stable, and educated. Young girls are lining up to catch his attention, as Jack
mentioned in the past with the guys. Jack and Sam too are worried about it. There are times when Ari
was uncontrollable, dating here and there, younger women, even students. One thing for sure, Ari
always told them about his dream of Hannah, his true love. Will this relationship survive when
temptation are everywhere.
Hannah's POV
I am sure Ari loves me and I loved him. Do we have a future in this relationship? Temptation is
everywhere for Ari. Will he be able to avoid them, until when? Dear Lord, please help us! I dont know if
I will survive another heartache, I am too old for that. I hope to be happy with him until the end. I am
dreaming of travelling to Tuscany with him, to Switzerland, to Italy, to London and Ireland. Those are
the places on my bucket list though I can travel with my friends but its differenct when I travel with Ari.
The enjoyment I would like to share with him, my life, my everything. Please give us a chance to make
it Lord. Please take away my worries.
