SASKAT Province
Saskat has been inhabited for thousands of years by various indigenous groups. Europeans first
explored the area in 1690 and first settled in the area in 1774. Residents primarily live in the southern
prairie half of the province, while the northern boreal half is mostly forested and sparsely populated.
Saskat receives more hours of sunshine than any other C province. The province lies far from any
significant body of water.
Hannah was doing research on couple of families who were victims of human trafficking in Saskat. The
producers are looking for additional factual information to complete the film. It was a docu drama that
the producers plans to submit at Cannes Film Festival. When making a documentary, facts are very
important. The interviews must be compelling, the questions are supposed to be direct to the point. The
facial expressions and body language must be captured in the right manner. Aside from the victims,
their families, the social services department were working feverishly with Hannah. In addition to the
Government of Saskat who was working to develop new provincial legislation to prevent human
trafficking in Saskat with data collected by Hannah and her team. The research and interviews were
keeping her occupied. She was on the road almost every day talking to the families, neighbors, and
friends of the victims. Filming and interviewing community leaders. At the end of the day, she was so
exhausted, dead tired, and just lie on her bed. Ari did not fail to call her even they are thousands of
miles away just to say Hi and how’s the day's work progress. He never fails to send her text messages
three times a day. Like: Take care of yourself, dont forget to have a meal, drink your vitamins. It's cold
in there, dont forget to bring extra warmers, socks and jackets. Put them at the trunk of the car. Bring
extra water, thermos for hot coffee, energy drinks, bars and sweet cookies. You love sweets. When you
get home, take a hot bath to help you relax so you can sleep well. Dont forget to have dinner even if
you're so tired. Don't sleep with empty stomach and wet hair. You might catch a flu and have headache
the following morning when you get up. When you get back, I will take care of you! Those are the
words and texts of Ari to Hannah, full of love and concern.
Tarlac, Philippines
Ari continues to acquire neighboring lands to expand the farm in Tarlac. Aside from tobacco, he started
a sugar cane plantation to produced table sugar. He acquired fishpond and farmed local milkfish. After
a year of locally farmed milkfish, they were able to sell in the local wet market, he aggressively joined
the processing technologies to developed milkfish seed production and became the supplier in Luzon.
He created local jobs and contribute to the community.
He busied himself with his business to distract himself. There are days that he cannot concentrate, just
smoke, and stare at the wall of his office. He became cold and ruthless. He goes home exhausted, had
his dinner, opens his laptop to check if there are messages from Hannah. He misses her so badly, he
started drinking alcohol alone before going to bed so he can have a good sleep. He started taking
sleeping pills, his anxiety kicks in almost every day. He can't help thinking about Hannah rejecting him.
The first 20 days has passed. The research and filming were extended for another 15 days. Ari was
getting worried and anxious.
Ari's POV
I will not let you ran away from me Hannah, you're very precious to me. I have to get you back and stay
with me for good. This is the chance I have been waiting for, I will make this happen.
The following day, he started to draft an assigned tasks for his staff to get it done while he travels to
Saskat province. Satisfied with his draft, it was mid afternoon when he called a meeting to his assistant
Kush, Charlie and administrative officer Lora to take over for 3 weeks. He decided to follow Hannah in
Saskat and spend time with her. I have to be proactive now. I want her back so bad.
While working on the business meetings schedule and instruction to his staff, the nanny rushes to Ari.
Aaron is missing.
