Chapter 272: The Deep Kiss in the Deep Water (3)

She turned around instinctively, and before she could see anything, her head was covered roughly by a piece of black cloth. The sudden assault made her scream for help immediately.

However, her assailant was quick and fast. Before she could get a word out, he clamped his palm over her mouth through the fabric and dragged her body out of the bathroom.

Song Qingchun knew it was a man. Probably afraid that he would be found out, he moved fast and rough; he managed to get her to stop struggling in several motions.

His hand that clamped over her mouth also pressed down on her nostrils causing her to go lightheaded from the lack of oxygen.

Her both eyes were covered by the cloth, so she could see nothing. She had no idea where the man was taking her except he was going there fast. Since the party had officially started, there was barely a soul on the second floor, and his footsteps were exceptionally sharp and loud in the empty corridor.

Through the sound of celebration that drifted up from downstairs, Song Qingchun could hear the breathing of this man coming quick and heavy, probably a sign of nervousness.

She continued to try to make some noise, but since her mouth was clamped shut, she only managed to produce incoherent, muffled noises. It was simply too soft for the party-goers to notice.

Song Qingchun didn't know what this man was planning to do, but considering the number of 'accidents' that had been happening to her, her instincts told her that he most likely meant her harm.

From the various 'accidents' so far, the person behind them only wanted one thing, and that was her life. She just so happened to have survived them every time. However, this time, it appeared that her luck had run out!

Song Qingchun continued to survive, but being dragged roughly around the cruise liner had taken pretty much every ounce of energy out of her body.

Her heart was a worried mess. From the feeling of her feet knocking on edges, Song Qingchun realized they were heading downstairs. Song Qingchun, in her heels, almost sprained her ankles many times. In the middle of it all, she was suddenly lifted into the air. A blast of cold wind hit her body. She felt droplets of water among it, and Song Qingchun realized she had been brought to the deck.

There was a huge crowd right downstairs, and the man wouldn't be able to escape while lugging her over his shoulders. It would have been less of a commotion if he had killed her in the bathroom, but he had chosen to drag her to the deck. There was only one reason he would do that… he was going to toss her overboard!

Even though Song Qingchun knew how to swim, it was the middle of winter. The lake must be incredibly chilling. If she fell into the water, her limbs would probably freeze immediately, and she would drown before someone discovered her body.

Then, none of them would know what had happened; they would probably assume that she slipped and fell into the water.

No one would know what really happened and avenge her death.

Song Qingchun started to struggle once more, and her survival instincts made her press the Home button on her phone subconsciously. Using her feeling alone, her finger sought its way to the lower left end of her key pad, and she started pressing randomly on it.

She had received several calls that night, and most of them had been from the people at the party.
