IN DOMINIC’S OFFICE
"How is Stacey?" Dominic asked in a cold tone.
It was clear from his tone that his mood was off and messing with him will be no worse than suicide.
Nathan and Justin shared a small look between themselves.
They frowned at each other before looking back at him.
"She is in the cell.We have kept our eyes on her 24/7.She is obviously not seated silently.She is
creating a ruckus down there.She is demanding to set free and let her go to her pack" Nathan said with
a clenched jaw.
He just couldn‘t tolerate that girl anymore.
She was not only a troublemaker but a walking danger as well.
He couldn‘t believe that she was walking over their pack for almost three years.
Goddess knows what else she did over the years to bring them danger.
"Don’t worry about her threats.She can’t do anything.Nor can his father." Dominic said in a blank tone.
He was furious at Stacey and her father as well.He couldn‘t believe that such a respective Alpha could
play such a dirty game using his daughter.
Nor could he believe that his daughter could step so low.
"Dominic, you shouldn’t take her father so easy as well.After all he is also a leader of a territory as
well.Alpha of alphas of the SOUTH‘S.Don‘t underestimate him.Only he could help you to catch those
rogues and their alpha."
Justin spoke up with a serious look on his face.He was disturbed about the situation as well.
As he was the leader of their warriors, if a war breaks out, he has to prepare himself for it.
The pressure is too much on him.
Because a war between two leaders is not going to end up well between any of them.
The leader of the South region is almost as strong as Dominic.
He is experienced and cold.He is ruthless for some reason.
They don’t know what the reason is but there are rumours that he once lost his daughter, Stacey,
because of the rogues which made him like that.
But they are not sure of that.
"We don’t need to be dependent on him, Justin.Rules are same for everyone and he became the
leader after taking oath on that only.Things aren‘t going to change because of his daughter.Also, I am
very doubtful of the alpha of the South."
Dominic said with a deep frown, making Nathan and Justin confused.
"What do you mean by that?" Nathan asked with a frown as well.
"What’s there to be doubtful?"
Justin asked after Nathan and he had the same expression as Nathan.
"Did any of you ever see his face? Or saw him attending any of the board meetings?"
Dominic asked with a frown and their frowns deepened hearing the questions.
"No...?"
Nathan trailed off as he tried to remember if he had ever seen the Alpha of the south or not.
"Exactly, no one has ever seen his face nor did he attend any of the meetings.It’s always his beta or
gamma.He is always staying in the dark.There are tumours that he chose that path after losing his
daughter.But he got her back, right? Then why isn’t he coming out yet?" He asked with a thoughtful
look on his face.
He was wondering about this from the last few days and these questions were not letting him in peace.
He needed to find answers to these questions.
And he is going to do that as soon as possible because for some reason, he thinks that a lot of things
are connected with the answers of these questions.
"You are right.We never thought of it this way.Is there any possibility that he is connected with the
rogues?" Justin asked with a frown.
"No, I don‘t think so.Because as an alpha and an alpha leader, he is doing a great job.No rogues walk
past his territory even by mistake and he’s maintaining the most peaceful territory ever out of the
four.So, I don‘t think he is someone troublesome or bad."
Dominic said with a permanent frown on his face as he was trying to figure out things.
The alpha of the south was very mysterious and he needed to solve it as soon as possible.
"Are you saying that he is not something that he‘s showing?" Nathan asked with a frown as he realised
how messed up the situation around them was.
"No, what I am saying is, STACEY‘S father is not what he is showing." Dominic said while putting
pressure on the word ‘Stacey’s father‘.
Nathan and Justin looked at each other in confusion "We don’t understand."
"What do you mean?" They asked at the same time while looking at Dominic for answers.
"Well, what I am saying is clear, instead of focusing on South‘s leader or Stacey’s father, we need to
focus on both.South‘s leader and Stacey‘s father.Individually.We might get what we are looking for and
even what we are not looking for."
Dominic said while looking at them both in the eyes to convey what he was trying to say.
They both nodded back, understanding what he meant very well.
"Don’t worry, we will look into it." Nathan said in a serious tone.
"Yes, and start from sending a letter to Stacey’s father and studying the contract papers between both
packs again."
Dominic ordered and Nathan nodded at him as it was his responsibility.
"Got it." He answered.
The Dominic looked at Justin.
"And you keep your eyes on Stacey in the cell and on the shadow eclipse pack.I am sure Alpha Derrick
is not going to sit back so calmly."
Dominic said with a dark glint in his eyes and Justin nodded at him as well.
"Got it." He replied back.
"Great.Now you both can leave.I have some work to do."
Dominic said in a dismissing tone.
"Before we leave, tell us something."
Nathan said while looking at him with a frown.
He looked back at them with a blank look
"What is it?" He asked.
"What’s going on between you and Athena actually?"
