Savanna, who rushed to the door, saw that Brandon was about to get into the Cayenne. She rushed

over and put her arms around Brandon’s leg tightly. She said, “Brandon, I agree to remarry! I won’t

sue!”

Brandon instinctively wanted to reach out to help Savanna, but Cain rushed over. He bent down to help

Savanna. Savanna refused to get up. Cain glared at Brandon, but Brandon just smiled coldly.

Brandon was gloomy. He shook off Savanna’s hand and coldly said, “Why should we remarry?

“It’s too late! I don’t want your love anymore!”

Then Brandon got into the car.

The car started, and the exhaust sprayed Savanna’s face. However, Savanna did not care. She started

to chase the car. The reporters all photographed her back, but she did not care!

Savanna burst into tears and suddenly fell. She knelt on the ground in a sorry state. Cain glared at the

reporters as he ran over and reached out to help Savanna.

Crack! Cain’s outstretched hand was pushed away. He looked up and saw a calm face. It was

Savanna’s mother-in-law, Giselle, who was suppressing her anger.

Giselle helped Savanna up and bent down to help Savanna remove the dust on her trousers.

“Savanna, you are so pitiful. Brandon is ruthless.”

Giselle looked in the direction of the voice and saw Kadyn with a malicious look. He was standing in

front of the reporters. He looked at Savanna but spoke to the reporters.

“Hypocrite!” Giselle snorted. She rolled her eyes at Kadyn and glared at Terri behind Kadyn.

Giselle helped Savanna up to Bentley when Cain rushed over. But he was stopped by Giselle. Giselle

asked in a cold tone, “What do you want to do?”

Cain cared about Savanna so much. His eyes were firmly fixed on Savanna’s pale face. Then he said

gloomily, “She doesn’t want to go with you. Let her down.”

Giselle sneered. She glanced at Cain contemptuously, turned around, and sat in the passenger seat.

The car slowly started and drove away.

Cain looked at the departing Bentley with mixed feelings.

The car drove to the Rose Villas. Savanna looked at the familiar environment outside the car and

suddenly came back to her senses. There was a light in her eyes. She got out of the car and ran to

open the car door for Giselle.

Giselle got out of the car. Seeing Savanna, whose face was full of tears, Giselle sighed and said,

Giselle was angry about the case that Savanna wanted to take Mandel away by law.

In her opinion, there was no need to go to court, for she thought going to court only made them a

laughing stock for others.

Savanna obediently stood in place with her head lowered. Without saying a word, Savanna looked so

sad. Seeing this, Giselle added, “They want to laugh at us. Kadyn and Terri were so proud.”

Recalling the schadenfreude on Kadyn’s face just now, Giselle was very unhappy.

This time, she resented Savanna.

Savanna grabbed Giselle’s sleeve and said in a hoarse voice, “Giselle, can you tell Brandon that I don’t

want to go to court?”

Giselle looked at her for a long time and said nothing.

After a long time, Giselle said, “Savanna, I’m not happy either, let alone Brandon. You can see Mandel

at any time. You were put in prison before. Even though Brandon was unhappy, he still

helped you out. However, you came out and found a lover to make Brandon sad. You even conspired

with him to take Mandel away. I can’t stand it, let alone Brandon.”

This time, Giselle did not stand by Savanna.

Just now, Giselle saw Cain come over to help Savanna. Seeing Cain’s distressed expression and

passionate gaze on Savanna, Giselle wanted to slap Cain.

Giselle thought, Brandon has always been a proud person. How could he bear it?

Giselle felt sorry for Brandon.

Giselle spoke as she walked into the villa. However, she could not hear any footsteps behind her. So

Giselle stopped and turned around. She saw Savanna standing in the same place with a pale and sad

face. Savanna was staring at somewhere in the villa sadly.

Giselle followed her gaze and saw the brightest light on the second floor. That was Mandel’s room.

Giselle sighed again. She shouted, “Follow me.”

Seeing that Savanna was still motionless, Giselle was a little anxious. She reminded Savanna, “Didn’t

you say you didn’t want to go to court? His car is here, so he should be back. You two can talk about it

in person.”

Seeing that Savanna finally took a step forward, Giselle was relieved. She nagged, “I am worried. Why

can’t you live a good life?”

Savanna followed Giselle into the villa, Giselle bent over and pressed her ear against the door to listen.

She could not hear any sound. Giselle raised her hand and knocked on the door as she asked,

“Brandon, it is me. Can I come in?”

There was no response. The room was silent.

Giselle pushed open the door and saw that the ground was a mess. The furniture in the room was

almost destroyed, which made Giselle feel scared.

Giselle looked up and saw Brandon sitting in a chair with a cigarette between his fingers. The smoke

blurred the outline of his face, but Giselle could feel the gloom all over his body. Giselle deliberately

looked at Brandon’s face and hands. There was not a trace of red marks on them. Only then did Giselle

relax.

Brandon knew that they had come in, but he did not look at them. Instead, he just sat there and

smoked, completely immersed in his thoughts.

Giselle muttered, “I must have committed crimes in my previous life, and that’s why I met you two.”

Giselle turned around and went out. Seeing Savanna’s wooden face, Giselle winked at Savanna. “What

are you waiting for? What did you just say to me? Tell him!”

Giselle pushed Savanna, and Savanna stumbled two steps forward.

The door was closed. Giselle’s voice sounded, “You care about each other, but you torment each other.

Why?”

The sound of footsteps faded away. Giselle walked away. Problems in an intimate relationship are

bound to be solved by the two in it rather than others. Giselle knew this very well, so Giselle left the

space to them and let them solve it themselves.

In the room, the atmosphere was stagnant. They could hear each other’s breathing.

Suddenly, Brandon extinguished the cigarette. He got up and walked out. When he passed Savanna,

Savanna reached out and grabbed his clothes. Savanna was gentle because she was afraid of

angering him.

The mess on the ground indicated that Brandon was in a rage.

Brandon lowered his head, and he stared at Savanna’s hand that was holding his clothes. His eyes

darkened as he said, “Let go.”

Savanna did not move. She maintained the same posture for a long time. Finally, she said in a hoarse

voice, “Brandon, I can’t live without Mandel.”

“You want to stay?” Brandon asked in a calm voice as if he was not the one who had just smashed

things out of anger.

Savanna nodded.

“You like me?” Savanna repeated. It seemed that she was extremely sad that she could not breathe.

Then, the smile on her face widened. Savanna said sarcastically, “Brandon, you like me? You say you

like me, but you want to strangle me, right?”

Savanna thought, how can a man who wanted to strangle me like me?

I killed the woman he loved the most, so he immediately took Mandel away from me. He let me bear

the pain of being separated from my son.

Brandon wanted to strangle Savanna. It was not because of Winnie’s death but because of her distrust

of him. Savanna wanted to take Mandel away from him. To achieve this goal, Savanna did not hesitate

to sue Brandon, which humiliated Brandon.

Brandon thought, I considered everything for her. Even if she committed a capital offense, I did not

hesitate to use all my connections I did not want to use to bail her out.

She is ruthless.

The more she wants to escape from me, the more I will not give her the chance!

She wants my son to call someone else ‘father’! No way!

I will never allow it unless I die!

Brandon said, “I don’t want a woman who takes the initiative to be my woman. Such a woman is very

cheap!”
