Savanna had a dream.

Savanna dreamed that Brandon had woken up. Brandon, who was wearing a hospital gown, had been

unconscious for 54 days. Brandon had lost more than ten pounds. Brandon looked more chiseled.

Brandon stared at Savanna with his dark eyes seriously as if Savanna was a stranger.

The coldness in his eyes was like a sharp arrow, piercing through Savanna’s heart.

Savanna cried in her dream, “I am Savanna, your wife. Don’t you remember me?”

Savanna cried and woke up.

Savanna met a pair of black pupils while her eyes were filled with tears.

As Brandon narrowed his eyes, he looked elegant

Savanna was fiercely startled as if she had instantly lost the ability to speak Savanna said in a broken

sentence, “You… You’re awake?”

Brandon was expressionless. The strange and distant look made Savanna’s fingers tremble Just as

Savanna was in a daze, Brandon’s slender fingers reached over and gently touched Savanna’s

forehead.

The warm touch of their skin was the best proof.

It was so real that a pleasant surprise rushed into Savanna’s heart. Savanna’s vision suddenly blurred.

“How are you feeling? Are you feeling unwell? I’ll call the doctor! I…”

Savanna turned around and was just about to call the doctor. Brandon suddenly grabbed Savanna’s

arm.

Brandon said cruelly, “Who are you?”

Savanna almost fell to the ground, and Savanna suspected that she had misheard.

Is this the nightmare becoming true?

At that moment, the color on Savanna’s face faded and her body could not stop shaking.

“What did you say? You… don’t remember me?”

Tears flowed down Savanna’s cheeks uncontrollably.

“Why is it like this? You… Why do you not remember me again?”

Brandon almost took Savanna’s life again?

Savanna looked out of the window and forced the surging tears back.

“I’ll call the doctor. I’ll ask the doctor what happened.”

Brandon didn’t let go of Savanna’s hand. Brandon pulled hard, and Savanna was pulled to Brandon’s

side.

The strength was just right, so it wouldn’t hurt Savanna’s belly, and Savanna just happened to throw

herself at him.

Brandon said, “Hottie, you look familiar. Give me a kiss and I will remember who you are.”

Savanna was familiar with that tone.

Savanna suddenly understood. Savanna was anxious and angry. Savanna punched Brandon in the

chest. Savanna said, “Brandon, you just woke up, and you’re already joking.”

Brandon coughed from the punch and said, “Savanna, are you trying to kill your husband?”

Savanna was both angry and aggrieved. Savanna said, “Then why did you lie to me? Do you know that

just now, I was so scared that I almost died?”

That feeling of helplessness and loss surged up once more, making Savanna feel so much pain that

Savanna didn’t want to live anymore.

Brandon held up Savanna’s face and kissed her piously. Brandon used the tip of his tongue to wipe

away every trace of bitter tears.

Brandon said, “Don’t cry. I won’t forget you no matter who I forget.”

Savanna nodded. Savanna closed her eyes, and the sound of their lips and teeth intertwined was

magnified in the silent ward..

Brandon was like a traveler in the desert who had been blessed by the rain, crazily grabbing every bit

of sweet dew in his mouth.

In the end, Savanna was so tired she collapsed in Brandon’s arms.

“Brandon, I sent Mandel away. Mandel is with his biological father.”

“It’s good to send him away. Tyrell will treat him well. We already have a child at home, and you are still

pregnant. You can’t take care of Mandel.” Brandon gently stroked Savanna’s soft hair.

After making out, Savanna called the doctor to check on Brandon.

Brandon was well. Other than the weakness that an operating patient should have, all of Brandon’s

indicators were normal.

Hearing the doctor say that, Savanna finally breathed a sigh of relief. Savanna pursed her lips and

forgot about her worries.

Brandon said, “Did you hear that? I’m fine. You can rest in peace and give birth to my daughter.”

Just as Brandon finished speaking, Savanna felt the little fellow in her belly kick her as if she was

echoing Brandon.

“The baby is moving.”

Brandon leaned over to listen and said seriously, “The baby wants you to stop crying. Don’t worry about

me.”

After receiving the news that Brandon had woken up, Darwin and Rex came together, followed by

many doctors.

After Darwin completed a thorough examination of Brandon, Darwin felt relieved. Darwin turned to Rex

beside him and said, “I can assure you that Brandon is healthy.”

Darwin was also very happy. Darwin left with the medical staff.

Rex stayed behind. Rex and Brandon looked at each other. Nothing needed to be said. Rex gently

punched Brandon’s chest and said, “Don’t get sick again. This time, Savanna is very tired. If you don’t

wake up, I will poke your head with a stick.”

Brandon held Savanna’s hand and looked at Savanna lovingly. Brandon said, “Thank you.”

Rex coldly snorted and said, “Are you thanking me or Savanna?”

Brandon smiled and said, “Thank you both, okay?”

Rex was very happy that Brandon could wake up. At least, Savanna did not need to work so hard.

In the past two days, Rex had always been upset by Savanna’s hard work and upset that he could not

help her.

Darwin asked someone to call Rex away and said that they would discuss another case together.

When the room was completely quiet, Brandon patted the empty space next to him and asked Savanna

to lie down. Savanna rolled her eyes at Brandon and his face suddenly turned red like blood. Savanna

said, “You aren’t serious. You just woke up. Get some rest.”

Brandon said, “I knew you would misunderstand me. My body is okay and I can do it. It’s just that you

are so big now. If I still want to do that… I am not a man. I just want to talk to you.”

As Brandon spoke, regardless of whether Savanna was willing or not, Brandon grabbed Savanna and

pulled her onto the bed.

Savanna was afraid that the family members of other patients would pass by outside, or that the nurses

would come in with medicine or something like that. If they saw her and Brandon lying on the bed in the

middle of the day, it would be inappropriate.

Brandon held Savanna’s soft waist like an iron hoop, and Savanna couldn’t move.

Savanna could only shyly take the quilt and cover her neck, only revealing her head.

Brandon said, “Don’t worry. They will be tactful.

“It doesn’t matter if they see us. If they have never seen a man and a woman being in love, they can

come and have a look.

“Savanna, you have worked hard during this time.”

Brandon picked up Savanna’s white and tender hand, but Brandon felt that it was rougher than before.

Brandon was heartbroken. Brandon kissed her hand and said, “I’m sorry. When I was unconscious, I

kept hearing your voice. It was as if you had told me a lot of things. I wanted to open my eyes and look

at you, but there seemed to be a mysterious force pulling me. It didn’t let me wake up.

“Did you come to talk to me every day?”

Savanna asked, “What did I tell you?”

Brandon recalled, “I can’t remember too clearly. You said so much. Sometimes, I could hear you.

Sometimes I couldn’t hear you. I seemed to have heard you sobbing. I wanted to reach out and hug

you. I wanted to kiss you. I wanted to comfort you and protect you. But I couldn’t do anything.”

That helplessness seemed to have gripped Brandon’s heart, making Brandon wish he was dead.
