gambled on the little Heaven Devouring Beast to help, but it seemed he was about to lose that bet.
Serena and Clifford’s faces were ashen with shock.
Watching the lightning tribulation descend from the sky, they were utterly helpless. All they could do
was watch, wide-eyed, as Trystan was reduced to ashes right before them, not even a corpse left
behind.
