“Okay, your daddy will be in your care then,” she said gently.

“I’m fine,” he answered simply but changed his tone and asked, “How’s Grandpa doing?”
“He’s still having heart issues.” Then, he briefly told Nicholas about Remus’ health condition. “His
situation is fine now, and he’s in a stabilized condition. Right now, Mom and Dad, as well as… Miss
Brenner is watching over him in the ward.”
