Chapter 1006 - A Meeting of Distinguished Existences! I

Within the Hallowed Astral Star.

It was a paradisiacal scene as a lush golden forest filled with mystical vegetation and harmless creatures flew about.

The atmospheric essence within this planet was extremely dense as rivers of essence could occasionally be seen flowing in the bright skies!

Within the skies of this golden planet, an enormous chunk of earth was freely floating as on top of it, the auras of a great deal of Hegemonies could currently be felt.

Many were discussing with each other as the mood was somewhat somber, but there were unique creatures flying about carrying foods and remarkably shimmering drinks that made the mood into one that fit a banquet more.

These creatures held bright gold wings on their back as they were only about a meter in size, commonly known within the Elysian Universe as the Race of Halcyon Fairies!

Their eyes bubbled with joy as they filled the long stretches of tables on top of the floating landmass of the Hallowed Astral Star with appetizing foods, occasionally tending to the Hegemonies that called onto them for specific things.

Within this floating landmass that was a few miles long, Hegemonies from all corners of the Primordial Cosmos were continuing to fly in as many became reacquainted with old friends, other even meeting enemies they had bad memories of as it was a mix of many beings!

Existences at the Universal Realm rarely stepped out of their Universes, being more worried about their own strength and power as they strove to influence many beings in any way they can while collecting marks of Ruination and finding the way forward.

An example was a particular Hegemony we had come to know before, a being letting out a powerful aura as he shone bright blue from head to toe- a cerulean blue crown rotating majestically atop his head.

With an expression filled with dissatisfaction, the Cerulean Hegemony looked around at all the Hegemonies as not a single one seemed to enter his eyes!

The only thing he paid attention to were the conversations, a particular one nearby catching his attention and managing to bring up bad memories.

"I respect Oathkeeper, but what use is there in gathering us all here? We just need to break the authority protecting those Universes and we can solve all of this!"

A Hegemony that looked entirely transparent as glass spoke to a humanoid Hegemony as its body trembled with unknown power. The humanoid hegemony only shook his head at the words, replying soon after with a calm tone.

"I don't think it's just this. There was also the death of the Lost Universe not too long as our Cosmos lost a part of itself, and these actions by Chronos and the others that deal with isolating other Universes...its something even I cannot fathom no matter how much I peer into destiny!"

RUMBLE!

The reply of this Hegemony made many beings turn to look in his direction, but it caused the Cerulean Hegemony's mood to turn even more sour as he remembered a particularly detestable creature that had stood before him not too long ago and took away his chance to gain a Cosmic Treasure!

The arrival shouldn't have been different than any of the others, but they caught the eyes of the Cerulean Hegemony and multiple other Hegemonies the moment they appeared as within the sea of powerful Universal Realm Hegemonies, they actually saw two Paragons being escorted by a Hegemony.

Paragons!

The figures of the bewitching Valentina and Adelaide walking with Noah's confident and tyrannical demeanor caught many eyes, these three beings landing on the floating landmass as the buzzing of conversation stopped to stare at them.

Noah took in all these gazes with a smile as Valentina's expression became annoyed, pulling Noah and Adelaide towards the food as with her identity as a newly rising Hegemony, she didn't have too many connections here!

"...I didn't think they let any tom, dɨċk, and harry come to such important events like this."

"..."

RUMBLE!

The voice of the Cerulean Hegemony rang out clearly as Noah turned his eyes towards him, looking towards this being that didn't see through him with great surprise as his eyes scanned him up and down.

The being that had tried to fight with him for a Cosmic Treasure! The being that had briefly crossed the Sea of Ruination and survived...the being that he had planned to rip apart whenever he gained enough power and time to do so.

Noah didn't think it would be this same being that would find trouble with him!

Valentina turned her head towards the direction of the Cerulean Hegemony as she was already in an annoyed mood today after having her genius shattered by Noah, gazing coldly towards the glimmering blue Cerulean Crown as she spoke dismissively.

"I didn't think so either, but here you are."

…!

WAA!

The eyes of many Hegemonies constricted at the fiery reply, the Cerulean Hegemony's face becoming cloudy as power began to emanate from his body in droves. He didn't think any random Hegemony would even dare to reply to him like so, much less when it came to 2 mere Paragons!

The surroundings turned icy cold as the Halcyon Fairies surviving food began to tremble, Valentina's eyes sparking powerfully when she felt the essence the Cerulean Hegemony had begun to release as she seemed fearless.

When it seemed like things were abou to boil over and erupt…

"Alright, let's settle down and get things started. Many of us are already here."

THRUM!

Beside Oathkeeper, another being descended with him as this being received just as much attention- and this was because it was another heavy weight at the same level as Oathkeeper and Chronos!

One of the most powerful beings of the Primordial Cosmos!

This existence was an archaic creature that was born with a unique physique that was made up entirely of the essence of chaos, his entire figure looking like a dark elemental that drew in any surrounding light. Wings that palpated with chaos and destruction unfurled freely behind him as his face was a black hole that could suck in the souls of weak beings if they stared for too long.

It was an archaic Hegemony that had lived far longer than many other Hegemonies- even preceding Oathkeeper himself. The creature that was the first to comprehend the Cosmic Dao of Extinction, the Universal expert that was known as The Goliath of the Primordial Cosmos!
